If you want to live in an area with 90% minorities, you are correct...if you want you blond son knifed in middle school, live in the Central Valley or in Richmond, CA.

I need the interest deduction to live in a good school district.

Just got off the phone with Registrar of Voters; ballot boxes at my polling station are cardboard boxes, and were missing seals. I protested to the poll worker, and had to follow him about the room to stay on his case to put the seal on the box. Other boxes had no seals also.
Cardboard? Really? Whatever happened to metal boxes with locks?

Also there was a woman outside playing the part of the Black Panther Party. But I use a rolling walker that works kind of like a Caterpillar scoop when necessary, so I didn't get any guff.

San Fernando Valley. Paper ballots polling place Sectio n 8 senior housing (mostly white with some Hispanic). District heavily Democrat. Heavily Hispanic. Voter turn out light when wife voted at 8:00 a.m. Still light when I just voted. Only the propositions matter because the area is about 70% Democrat. If turnout is light its a bad sign for prop 32 it might not pass because of the voting power of the public unions.

You were supposed to vote yes on 32 to stop the unions from taking dues giving them to dems and using them against us! Dang!

Just more proof, some people shouldn't be allowed to vote.

This may help those not sure, and who plan on voting for the CA proportions.

I voted about 9:45 in Moreno Valley this morning. About 70 miles east of LA. Full but no lines. A shorted ballot this year than the last few should speed the process. There was a young girl sitting in the corner of the room with a laptop. I assume she was a poll watcher. There were more young workers this year than I have seen before.

Sounds like a Dr. Seuss city.

Voted in Eagle Rock, CA at 10:30am. NO LINES.
Paper ballot, no problem. Lots of Hispanic, Oriental. Definitely Obama territory.

Eagle Rock is actually Northeast Los Angeles.

Lots of Obama signs in 2008. MUCH fewer this election.

I am holding my nose and find it shameful to do what I must. Obama is disgusting though

The preponderance of Benghazi evidence conclusively shows that Obama is a Coward. As a Coward, Obama is unfit to be the Commander in Chief of the US Military.

His strategic retreat to Las Vegas, Nevada the day after he authorized that 4 Americans were to be left behind to be murdered, has brought indelible shame to his office, and the Democrat Party.

As parents, who among us wants to send our sons and daughters to a US Military that has a Commander In Chief who is a Coward?

May the heros of Benghazi be proud of how we vote today.

They gave their lives for us, now we need to give our votes for them.

Vote as if the lives of our Military Men and Women depended on it.

I voted about 11 am in the OC. All the machines were full and there were about 3 people ahead of me which is pretty normal for this precinct. Judging from the yard signs, I live in a largely democrat area, but there were not a lot of obama signs up. I went to Wally World after and an older gentleman noticed my patriotic shirt and commented on it, then asked me if I had voted yet. I showed him my sticker. He said “I sure hope Romney wins”. I wholeheartedly agreed with him.

Just voted at 11AM for my first time in CA. Live on the PV Peninsula in LA County. No lines but there was a steady stream of voters. Many Asians and older people. Saw only one bumper sticker in the parking lot and it was for Obama.
Just as an aside, my daughter and S-I-L have been out of town. They were going to take their absentee ballots with them and mail them in. They forgot to take them so I guess that is two fewer votes for Obama.

Sacramento area:
In East Sacramento, the equipment to scan ballots at David Lubin Elementary polling site was broken, so voters were putting ballots in a secured box instead.

Placer County is estimating a turnout of registered voters in the 80 percent range. In El Dorado County, the hope is for close to 85 percent. In Yolo County, about 78 percent is projected.

Sacramento County as of Friday had not projected turnout. But in the last presidential election, turnout was 79 percent.
