I am in a very small community in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I have not seen one Obama Sign since the electioneering has started.
There has been a constant stream of voters entering the Polling Place, a Local Church.
Not a lot of young people here and us Veterans
are over represented, a whole lot of retired military
and civilian retirees.
I have not heard of anyone saying they would vote for a liberal. The economy is the # 1 Issue here.
what is the Weasel term,
oh yeah, I am cautiously optimistic

Ya got to be careful, as the wording on some propositions can be convoluted and deceptive. In CA, they are wise to people voting no on every measure.

We voted here in Eureka at 8:30am and found several parking places right across the street which was a first, then there was no line when we entered the polling place (a school). It looked like there was as many poll workers as voters...
