” The 14th Amendment to the Constitution provides for “equal protection of the laws” for all Americans. To have a law that can cost an organization millions of dollars a year either apply or not apply, depending on the whim or political interest of the President of the United States, is to make a mockery of the rule of law.
How secure is any freedom when there is this kind of arbitrary power in the hands of one man? “
.
We are decidedly NOT free under Obama

It didn’t take any time at all for me to post this thread, it’s really speeded up for me, thought maybe they’d found the problem.

The Federal Constitution is dead, its only a matter of time before we see more and more of theses abusive & arbitrary acts coming into place. There is in practice little or nothing to stop them, and the advantage they give to the incumbent is too great for a power hungry politician to ignore.
It is inevitable that acts very much like them will be the key catalyze to effectively ending our democracy over time just as the republic was ended.
To: stephenjohnbanker; jazusamo
They purposely gave HHS Sec broad powers, I guess they never thought about what happens if a Republican becomes President.

It’s alot better for me, and I’m in PA.
I’ve also still got all my blocks disabled. Did you try that? It does help noticeably.
To: jazusamo
You do not have a self-governing people when huge laws are passed too fast for the public to even know what is in them. Not only passed too fast for The People to read, none of the so-called legislators bothered to read it either.

Yes, I have all blocks enabled. What does not work for me is the search in FR. I get stuck in my Address bar when I do. :(
