Vanity - Sen Rob Portman(R-OH) on Bill Cunningham last night

Posted on 11/05/2012 4:10:04 AM PST by Perdogg

Bill Cunningham had Rob Portman on his show last night. I was going to start a thread, but FR crashed - again.

Bill Cunnighmam's five reasons Romney will take Ohio

1. OH is still a GOP state. Over 70% of the elected officials in OH are GOP including half the Senators and a majority of the Congressional Delegation.

2. Obama has already lost 250,000 votes from 2008.

3. Romney has the Independant vote.

4. Cathoics in Ohio will vote Romney.

5. Chick-fil-a Voter.

Rob Portman said the ground game in OH was better than the OH ground game in 2004 when Bush won Ohio. He said he could feel the energy, enthusiasm, and momentum.

A lot what Portman said was boilerplate, but you could detect general optimism in his voice. He feels good about OH despite the oversampled polls - his words about the polls.

I can’t stand listening to him but I do. Portman was a rock last night. Quietly confident.

Bill comes across as a real twerp on his show.

On a nice day I can only stand about 30 seconds of it or however long it takes to find the remote...whichever comes first.

Cunningham keeps stressing the Cincinnati-area vote will tell the tale for OH.....I think he's absolutely right.

To offset the Fraud/multi-vote/inner-city-parasitic vote in Cuyahoga County, we gotta out-vote them in the rest of the state.

IF Romney can win BIG Hamilton, Butler, Meigs, and Crawford Counties (the Cinci area), he WILL win OH.

He (Cunningham) claims that Romney needs to pile up big margins in Hamilton, Butler, Clermont and Warren counties in southwest Ohio around Cincinnati to win Ohio, and those returns should be KNOWN by about 8:30pm on Tuesday.

My father-in-law, hardcore union Teamster, stood in line with my mother-in-law for 2 hours and 45 minutes in Warren County Ohio last night to vote for Romney.

They had to unsuspectingly leave town due to an ill family member but were not leaving the state until they voted.

I’ve never heard of a 3 hour line to early vote on a Sunday in Ohio.

Cunningham sort of looks like Liberace to me.

John Kasich was on Fox this morning; he maintains that Romney will win Ohio.

Meigs county is on the other side of Ohio from Cincy. It is the poorest county in Ohio and I would be VERY surprised if it went for Romney.
