For years, many veterans and active military have been alarmed about the idiocy of the changes in battlefield evacuation known as Dust Off.
For reasons having nothing to do with patient care, Dust Off has been removed from the control of the professionals, the medics, and put under the control of amateurs, aviation staff officers.
According to Gen. Creighton Abrams, former U.S. Army chief of staff and former supreme commander in Vietnam: “A special word about the Dust Offs … Courage above and beyond the call of duty was sort of routine to them. It was a daily thing, part of the way they lived. That’s the great part, and it meant so much to every last man who served there. Whether he ever got hurt or not, he knew Dust Off was there. It was a great thing for our people.”

Thank you. I moved from RI to Texas so most of my “friends” on facebook are Democrats. I know they are probably sick of all my pro Romney posts but to me it is a matter of life or death. I just read that since Obama implemented the new ROE in 2009 deaths in the military have trippled. Why isn’t this reported by MSM?
Just think of the disaster, woith regard to our military, if somehow 0bama is re-elected. After the election, the Benghazi hearings will showcase 0bama’s callousness and incompetence right out in the open. This can only fuel the anger and disrespect for 0bama from most current or former miltary (Gen Powell, the exception). How can zero trust the military in this situation??? Add sequestration cuts resulting in reductions in equipment, personell and benefits and you have the potential for a coup d’etat at some point.
I have NEVER wanted anyone out of office more than I do obama.
