Fortunately the electoral college balances against this type of stupidity....at NJ can’t hurt too much and it isn’t as if Romney was going to win there....but really EMAIL and FAX when phone and power are out......And that doesn’t even address the idea of fraud and abuse....what a lunatic. Chris has eaten too many Krispy Kreme his brain is mush

Christie better not be giving ideas to Ohio and PA with this.

Oh, you can guaran-damn-tee it that Obama's army of lawyers are in PA, New York, CT, and every state hit by the hurricane right now petitioning sympathetic judges demanding these very things.

Christie has shown just how much of a bum he is, trying to help Obama into the White House because Romney reportedly changed his mind about having Christie on the ticket as VP. Christie’s full day of butt kissing Obama during the Sandy aftermath was disgraceful. Christie thinks more of “revenge” and his own self-importance than the well-being of the US. He’s a f”””””” BUM!

..... Possibly the most important vote of our lifetime, a revolution that could overthrow our country with foreign ideals ....... and this election is becoming a lampooned version of American politics ...... a laughing stock and a three ring circus all wrapped together and controlled by cartoonish leaders that are reminiscent of the likes Curly Moe and Larry.

The history books are going to have a hey day with all of this. But sadly we will all have to deal with the aftermath of all of this beginning in a few short days and then beyond for the rest of our lives passing on the wreckage to our children and their descendants. I truly hope that the results of this election will make us proud of our deeds .... and not ashamed that we gave all of the God given freedom and greatness without even a fight.

Fingers crossed ..... the destiny of this nation may well be decided in a mere 48 short hours. That is ... barring any politically corrupt chicanery of course.

This would work best with self-serve banks.

This is going to set a very dangerous precedent if Romney doesn’t win and change/”defrauditize” the voting process nationally.

I fail to see the risk.

If NJ goes 90/10 for Obama, it matters no more than if NJ goes 51/49 for Obama.

Of course, if someone can make the case that NJ was about to go 51/49 for Romney before Christie let ACORN take it, then it might be interesting. But I'm pretty sure Romney needs NJ about as much as he needs DC.

In any case, it will be an interesting experiment. We'll have at least a couple of years to sort it out.

Fax early and often! How many emailed ballots will be as questionable as Obama's BC is said to be?

FWIW, NJ had this system in place already for the military, and are just extending it to displaced residents. In other words, what they are doing is offering the overseas military voting system to civilians.

LoL seriously this move greatly diminishes my respect for Governor Christie. Any man who would sacrificial election integrity simply to increase voter turnout is indeed a dangerous man indeed.

While this is not a legitimate issue in a federal election campaign it is indisputably an issue of great concern in a state campaign. Assuming you can still have a legitimate state campaign under such rules.

I think you we would find it more educational to deliberately throw their election. The Democrats may not care about election integrity everywhere else, but if they lose a state over the issue then maybe they will start caring.

On that note it might be wise for conservative to help throw the New Jersey election. It is not like it matters this time. Christie needs to have his head examined if he thinks this move is justifiable. He is letting his emotional sympathy for deaster victims overwrite his judgement and make real victims of the entire states population.

(PS: People without power can’t email or fax.)
