I fail to see the risk.

If NJ goes 90/10 for Obama, it matters no more than if NJ goes 51/49 for Obama.

Of course, if someone can make the case that NJ was about to go 51/49 for Romney before Christie let ACORN take it, then it might be interesting. But I'm pretty sure Romney needs NJ about as much as he needs DC.

In any case, it will be an interesting experiment. We'll have at least a couple of years to sort it out.

I think you we would find it more educational to deliberately throw their election. The Democrats may not care about election integrity everywhere else, but if they lose a state over the issue then maybe they will start caring.

On that note it might be wise for conservative to help throw the New Jersey election. It is not like it matters this time. Christie needs to have his head examined if he thinks this move is justifiable. He is letting his emotional sympathy for deaster victims overwrite his judgement and make real victims of the entire states population.
