Is the Secret Service Ignoring Threats Against Romney?

The Secret Service appears to be playing politics by ignoring threats of riots and violence against Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney made by leftist filmmaker Michael Moore and the liberal group MoveOn.

The threat was made via a web ad video released earlier this week in which Moore and MoveOn hide behind elderly women who make scripted terrorist threats against Romney and the nation over the presidential election.

One woman is shown inciting riots if Romney defeats Democratic party President Barack Obama, “I want the Republican party to know, if your voter suppression throughout this beautiful country enables Romney to oust Barack Obama, we will burn this mother****** down!” (Expletive edited from original.)

Another woman says she’ll attack Romney in his genitals, “If the Republicans steal this election, I am going to track down Mitt Romney and give him the world’s biggest ****-punch. What’s the matter sonny, you never heard that phrase, ****-punch? Right in the *******.” (Expletives deleted from original.)

Several phone calls to the Secret Service public affairs office about the threat to Romney, who is under their protection, over the past few days have not been returned. Detailed messages of inquiry were left with the voicemail of spokesman George Ogilvie.

A search of news sites shows no articles reporting a Secret Service investigation in to the threat.

Last April, conservative rock musician and outspoken Second Amendment activist Ted Nugent was investigated by the Secret Service within days of making an ambiguous comment about President Barack Obama.

SNIP

There has been no statement from the Obama campaign or administration denouncing the threats of violence against the president’s chief political rival and riots by Moore and MoveOn.

YES THEY ARE! Why I am not quite sure, but considering how many hookers and the vast amounts of cocaine in Hollywood, one would think they would jump at the chance to come to Hollywood, even if they do nothing else but party.

Interesting that the Secret Service prefers Obama to Romney.

Well, when you read the post that are talking about killing Romeny, threats of riots etc you kind of half to laugh them off.

We’re talking 3rd grade education levels i.e. “Obama Phone Lady” type idiots.

I doubt 90% of them could pick Romney out of line-up. The other 10% are probably OWS leftovers hiding in their parents basement.

Interesting that the Secret Service prefers Obama to Romney.”””

I wouldn’t bet you a used grocery bag that this statement is correct.

I think the Secret Service feels pretty sick about the events in Bengazhi.

Wife of fired Secret Service agent vows to stand by his side

Yet another Federal agency that has been polluted by the stench of the Obama's. Romney needs to clean house. It will take industrial strength ammonia.

Yeah, the SS are real great guys...

They are not too great when on an overseas assignment (agents and their supervior(s)) porking whores and binge drinking or rounding up Obammy’s political enemmies. They are honorable, non-partisan good ole boys when they harrassed one of Obama’s peasant enemies who committed the dangerous outrage of hanging an empty chair from his tree.

The SS is corrupt. In it’s current form, it needs to be ditched by Romney and re-established with decent, constitutionally respectful agents and leadership. It’s a danger to the President and freedom of speech in it’s current form.

When Romney becomes President, he will need to steam clean the drunken, whoring SS.

**Shocking the gene pool with a couple of 30-06 rounds?**

I can prepare for that! I’m loading my clips now! One to the right, then one to the left. Right, left.

Or was that one to the left, then one to the right! Don’t want no 7th round stoppage!

Must remember to keep the thumb out of the way! Pig sticker on one end, cub on the other end! Need someone to carry this heavy thing!

Oh my brain is strained!

How about a little trip in the "way back" machine? Remember this little incident? One pertinent factoid missing from the piece below (Chicago Trib) is that it was on Bill Clinton's instructions that these people were arrested and detained.

Glenn and Patricia Mendoza

More than a decade after she was arrested for yelling at President Bill Clinton at Taste of Chicago, Patricia Mendoza is still adamant that she was simply exercising her First Amendment right.

"I thought that I lived in a country where I could speak my peace," said Mendoza, 47. "I thought I had freedom of speech. Obviously, we don't."

Mendoza and her husband, Glenn, saw Clinton on July 2, 1996, when he made an impromptu appearance at the summer festival. Referring to a terrorist bombing a week earlier at a U.S. Air Force housing complex in Saudi Arabia that killed 19 Americans, Mendoza shouted at the president, "You suck, and those boys died!"

U.S. Secret Service agents took Mendoza's blurt as a threat against the president and directed Chicago police to arrest the couple. The county dropped the disorderly conduct complaint against them in October of that year.

The Mendozas live in Naperville, where they run a cabinet company and invest in real estate. They say they've never again done anything like the incident, as Glenn Mendoza calls it, and do not consider themselves to be political activists.

Glenn Mendoza said that what they went through was ultimately positive because it highlighted how he believes personal freedoms are in jeopardy.

"People now still cannot believe that that happened to us, just because of what we said. Freedom of speech is pretty limited, no doubt about it," he said. "I think people are starting to see that they're being treated like sheep and the government is taking our rights away. If we wake up soon enough maybe we can turn this freight train around."

Sara.... granted, I know one... but he’s genuinely a good guy and there are many of them... there are bad people in every profession; cops, fireman, teachers, realtors, lawyers, doctors, insurance salesmen, politicians, etc... all of these professions have had members of these professions that cheated, lied, stole, murdered, raped, etc. Yes, we expect more from them.... but I don’t believe that the entire staff is corrupt.

One thing about the ss is that it’s members have to be elite, cream of the crop people in loyality, character and mental and physical condition. They have to be smarter and better than your average bear.

They are not your regular run of the mill minister, police man, teacher or fire fighter. But I trust that your friend is a good one because you evaluated that. Assumptions with the SS are over now.
