The Secret Service appears to be playing politics by ignoring threats of riots and violence against Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney made by leftist filmmaker Michael Moore and the liberal group MoveOn.
The threat was made via a web ad video released earlier this week in which Moore and MoveOn hide behind elderly women who make scripted terrorist threats against Romney and the nation over the presidential election.
One woman is shown inciting riots if Romney defeats Democratic party President Barack Obama, I want the Republican party to know, if your voter suppression throughout this beautiful country enables Romney to oust Barack Obama, we will burn this mother****** down! (Expletive edited from original.)
Another woman says shell attack Romney in his genitals, If the Republicans steal this election, I am going to track down Mitt Romney and give him the worlds biggest ****-punch. Whats the matter sonny, you never heard that phrase, ****-punch? Right in the *******. (Expletives deleted from original.)
Several phone calls to the Secret Service public affairs office about the threat to Romney, who is under their protection, over the past few days have not been returned. Detailed messages of inquiry were left with the voicemail of spokesman George Ogilvie.
A search of news sites shows no articles reporting a Secret Service investigation in to the threat.
Last April, conservative rock musician and outspoken Second Amendment activist Ted Nugent was investigated by the Secret Service within days of making an ambiguous comment about President Barack Obama.
There has been no statement from the Obama campaign or administration denouncing the threats of violence against the presidents chief political rival and riots by Moore and MoveOn.

Not from what I’ve heard. Just the opposite.
That is all the logic one gets from these liberal scum buckets...hate, violence, and intimidation. Of course, they support a totalitarion state so I guess their logic goes hand in hand with their methods.
This past week, Weed, er Reid, said he would not work with Romney if he were elected. I guess any sort of compromise with these people is off the table. Well, when one does not see the need to compromise, I say ignore them, march over them, and let them rant all they want.
In the case of Weed, er Reid, the adage keep your friends close and your enemies closer should have a phrase added, if you have a knife.
As for Moore, man the harpoons!
I wouldn;t get too worried... Mitt and Paul will be safe... those guys take that job seriously ... I know a Secret Service Agent... they are very dedicated.... as for Moore, MoveOn, etc, rioting.... LET THEM.... it will expose them for what they really are... might sound harsh, but that’s how we evolve.
we can’t find an angry photo of oboohoo?
Shocking the gene pool with a couple of 30-06 rounds?
Just be careful not to position yourself between Moore and the Twinkies...
Not *too* much, but according to someone who observed a recent rally, and who has deep experience with protection including Presidental protection, they were clearly in emergency mode.
If someone is threatening riots then it isnt really a threat against Romney so much as they are going to burn their own cities down.
Voter suppression? These people are unbelievable. I can’t even imagine what they’re talking about? Is this about Voter ID laws? Here is what REAL voter suppression looks like:
If Romney wins, he should dismiss /fire / relocate the entire WH Secret Service and replace all of them with new personnel. They appear to be totally out of control and irresponsible.
Did the SS leave the bar already this morning?
IMHO the Secret Service folks are hoping for a man whose life is worth defending with their own - they have been debased these last 4 years protecting a commie buffoon.
That is a perfect (and frightening) graphic.
