Maybe he CANNOT say anything due to what he heard during intelligence briefings OR “when your enemy is hanging himself, let him.” All that would happen if Mitt spoke of Benghazi would be a media feeding frenzy.

Mitt knows what he is doing, doubt if he is quiet due to cowardice.

This is not about Mitt, and the MSM will make it about Mitt if Mitt follows your advice.

He’s trying to reduce the gender gap. He doesn’t want to come across as a “meanie” to all the undecided lady voters.

This is a mistake, Mr. Romney. Think of the people who were murdered. What about their greiving families?

People need to know what and whom their voting for next week. It’s now or never.

No way , don’t go somewhere you don’t know the answers to. He isn’t going to win on Benghazi, hammer the economic issues and experience there. FYI, watch Obama start getting grilled on relief of Sandy questions.

Romney is clearly dodging the issue. He thinks the economy will win him the election and other stuff is distractions. Plus he shot too soon and drew MSM attention to himself and now is gunshy.

If he loses he will look like just another stupid AH like McCain was.

The one place he can hammer Obama, when Obama says AlQaeda on run, he can point out that Libya has proved that is not true, many reports through out the military and CIA are pointing out to a stronger AL Qaeda, he can hammer that!

Look this is a two on one match MITT vs OBAMA and THE MEDIA. It is almost impossible to attack both as the coordinate against you. Mitt worked hard to get where he is and with 4 days no mistakes can be made... most voters unlike us do ot care about Benghazi.... sad but true.

Romney hits it hard on Monday big, or not at all. A late full throated blast! Leaders questions obstruction, secrecy, incompetency and abandonment of security.

Romney, even as a citizen has a right to question.

As a candidate, he has an obligation to record a LOUD, LATE question.

Besides there is NOTHING that would keep me from voting for Mitt other than death. So whether he speaks about Benghazi prior to winning the election is moot.

On November Seven,
With your Clear Eye so bright,
Will you pause to ponder,
Should Benghazi have won the night?

Was there enough intelligence
To tell friend from foe?
Would Women be offended
If I didn’t go slow?

Oh me, - - - oh my,
Whatever should I have done?
To challenge Benghazi Obama,
Or play it safe and fun?

What could I really do?
The polls were so close,
And now I can only ask:
“What would Patton do?”

No! Romney should have made this an issue during the debates and during September and October. It is too late now for HIM to harp on it except to continue to demand answers to questions. That alone should be all he has to say anyway. Surrogates should do the rest.

Obama has been baiting Mittt for several days on this. Did you catck bams wearing his AF-1 bomber jacket today with “Commander in Chief” on it?

Also, the constant phrase “We leave no one behind” he is using at every opportunity the last 2 days.

Bams has a trap set for Mitt (I have no clue what he has) but Mitt isn’t taking the bait.

100% of the citizenry knows the economy is shit.

Probably less that 1/3 of the citizenry even knows what Benghazi is, and most are already voting Romney anyway.

Foregoing the economy, which resonates with everyone, in order to talk about an issue most people don’t know about would be dumb. Just plain dumb.

Crowley shut him down when he was going for the Marxist’s throat, and he was smart enough to spot the trap Sheiffer laid out in the third debate.

What can he say now? Watch Fox News? It’s the only news outlet (cable channel) reporting on Benghazi. The alphabets are silent and cnn is reporting B.S.

Pray, hope and LOOK for something to break BIG tomorrow.

The MSM is currently trying to find any disinformation it can to confuse the issue.. why give them ammo...

Let them(MSM) fight any and ALL retired and discharged military people who are completely outraged by this.. and familys and friends of the ex-military people ..

RE :”There you are again. This is not about MITT. Sometimes it’s better to let things play out. Alot of what is out there is innuendo and gossip. Mitt chooses his battles.”

Me??? Again??? LOL

This is simple, If Romney wins Tuesday then his strategy will be judged as a sound one, if he loses then he will be judged (rightly) as another weak fool like McCain. The problem is that time is running out quickly for this to be noticed and Obama is being hugged and praised on TV by Christie and Bloomberg instead of this. That is what voters are seeing.

That part is simple.

McCain played Mr Civil, got creamed by O and now MSNBC praises his civility in that campaign to make Mitt look ruthless.

John McCain has been out there (he could turn on a dime) but he’s out there now with questions, Newt Gingrich is out there.

I think Mitt’s doing all he can on this issue.

The real question is: Where are the elected officials?

John Boehner...etc.

That’s their job

The congress critters are home in their districts running for reelection, and you’re right, they should be raising he// about Benghazi.

All key office holders should be demanding guest spots on the news talk shows for the purpose of speaking about Benghazi, regardless of the questions they’re asked.

That’s the only way to get exposure of Benghazi on the networks.!!

I agree with your second option, the enemy is hanging himserlf, let him. The info is out there, anybody not already convinced and capable of being convinced will convince himself of herself. The 47% aren’;t going to be convinced of anything no matter what and it wouldn’t matter of God came down and told them they were wrong, they’d tell him to screw off.

Congress has the responsibility to keep the heat on. Credit McCain and Graham, for all their faults for continuing to apply pressure. Same for Issa and Chaffetz. I voted early today in Palm Beach County. Very long wait, 2 1/2 hours.

Huge crowd, very pro-Romney, lots of demonstrators with signs protesting Obama over Benghazi and the media blackout. Jewish Republicans out in force for Romney and Adam Hasner (Republican to take Allen West’s previous seat). The key takeaway from this is that everybody there was talking about Benghazi today. The word is getting out there. Our enemies are watching Fox to see how bad the situation is. You know human nature is that we are going to talk about hot topics, especially our enemies. They know this is big and are praying it holds until after Tuesday. They can’t help but talk about it. This I think is why Obama is stuck at 47% and will not go higher.

This I think is why Obama is stuck at 47% and will not go higher.

Some have said he could get a bump from Sandy.

I believed that may have been possible but if the news on post Sandy drags out, do you think he could actually lose points?

I saw the video of New Yorkers eating from a dumpster and photos of gas lines.

What do you predict Obama's approval rating and where it may go ultimately with Sandy?

Sandy is a wash for Obama (no pun intended). His misfortune is that the storm hit already Blue states. Given the extent of the damage, he only stands to lose votes. So many of those disappointed democrats in NJ and NY have a lot more to worry about right now than saving Obama’s sorry butt.

FEMA ain’t doing nothing to save coal miners in western PA and Ohio their jobs. Romney’s performance in the 2nd debate sealed the election for him. He will take PA and OH.

There has already been quite a bit of public record
material for Romney to make things uncomfortable for
Obama if he will only press the issue of what Obama did
or didn’t do. That is, it won’t help Romney to dwell
on issues that are “under investigation” at present.

Long before now Romney should have drilled Obama on
the “fog of war” BS. He could certainly lean on
Obama to explain his own actions. What is BO going to
say “Ah, ah, I’m having myself investigated so I can’t
respond to your question, Jake...”?

I really don’t think Romney can hurt himself too much
if he confines his challenges to the shady way Obama
and his administration handled public statements, so far.

Outside of Romney there is really no entity to compel
Obama to say anything. If Obama wins, everything goes
away. Had Romney been turning the heat up a little
at least Obama might have been forced to tell more
lies which may have provided Congress with a little
more ammo if/when there are hearings. On the other hand
there little evidence that the MSM would even push the
issue no matter what Romney says. Still, it should
have been tried.

Transparency is the hallmark of the Obama admin-
istration. Well?
