Comparing the ancient, natural law principle of “the Common Good,” or “the General Welfare,” to Nazism, seems to be a bit off the mark. But if it makes you feel good, go for it.

They can’t get food and gasoline in how do you think they are going to get all the materials in for your tent city? So how many starve to death because trucks bring food are bring tents and how many freeze to death standing out in the weather waiting for you tent city? But you are right there a many.

Never mind. One thing I can assure you no one with a logical and sane mind is going to force people out in the street.

You must work for the Government only a government bureaucrat of the first order could come up with such a ridiculous plan. You msut work for the Government only a government brueacrate of the first order could come up with such a rediculus plan.

I think it’s right on the mark and I assure you if the government tried to force many in such a camp then there would be plenty of trouble.

Tell you what if you are so sure you are right and your plan is so great post a thread on it.

I could use a laugh, but I assure you it will not get any accolades for you plan on FR.

I look forward to your thread.

If they can run the marathon this weekend, they can set up a simple camp.

I would suggest drawing up a plan for a tent city, and then assign blocks to various charities. The charities can then sub-contract as they see fit.

It’s an ancient, and perfectly valid concept.

There are times, like war and disaster, where public safety trumpet individual and property rights.

_________

Huh? Are we talking about Scotish Law here or something French? No one should be forced to do anything. It's called personal responsibility.

1992 - Miami - Florida City.

2005 - New Orleans - Superdome.

It’s been done before. It’s failed before.

Did you post a thread yet with your idea? If you like I can posted if for you on one of my preparedness threads, giving you credit of course. Who knows who might be reading these threads? Maybe Bloomberg or Como and they might just embrace you plan and run with it.
