-— I think this could get real nasty real quick. ——

I saw Obama in his presidentin’ jacket, so everything’s cool.

-— Most importantly, selling gasoline would be much more profitable in NY than in the rest of the country. This would encourage suppliers to ship gasoline into NY from other parts of the country to take advantage of those profits. ——

Yes, YES! A thousand times, YES!!!

Yeah, it pisses me off too.

And its not really funny. Lives hang in the balance.

Yep, Governor Christie said so.

-— How long before someone gets killed for a 5 gallon can of gas? -—

How long before a candle starts a fire in a high rise? Without sprinklers, it will be hell on earth.

High rises without power should be emptied immediately. By force, if necessary.

Remember 9/11? Anything’s better than being in a burning high-rise.

So you going to put them on the street in the cold and the rain and now you have snow in the forecast? Yeah that will work.

Easier to set up a tent city than to rescue people from a burning high rise.

This is a true emergency/war time situation, where the governor must act forcefully for the public good.

When I saw him he was walking across someones swimming pool.

Typical of the jug eared bastard, he didn't wipe his feet first.

They can’t even feed them and you got them placing them in tent cities? Man are you paying attention to what’s going on? Let us think hmmm...a truck load of tents or a truck load of food??

Now that’s a conservative phases if I ever heard one: “for the public good.” Do you realize how much and what has been done by those shouting words like that? Maybe we can trains, yeah lots of boxcars and load them up and then.....

By the way where are you going to build these tent cities when pretty much every square foot of land in New York City as something built on it? And do you realize the shear numbers it you take? The population of Manhattan alone for 2011 was 1,601,948.

I don’t abandon terms because the left abuses them, but you may.

Are you familiar with the term, the general welfare?

It’s an ancient, and perfectly valid concept.

There are times, like war and disaster, where public safety trumpet individual and property rights.

You ideas are impractical, again I ask where are you going to build this tent city? And if they can’t get enough food in are you going to devert scant logistic resources to bring in tents? and do you think there is room or even enough tents to house a couple million people or better? And how are you going to heat and light these tents? How are you going to provide santation security??

And once behind those gates what makes you think you will get out? After all it will be for your own good.

Central Park. Tents, cots, blankets, MRE's and Porta-potties. How much will that cost, compared to a burning high-rise?
