Oh Bloomie you big snot, I mean shot. Maybe NYC is yours, but New Jersey is not yours to tell Barack whether or not it’s fine to visit. Nor is the rest of New York state, for that matter.

Last thing they need is Obama blocking off roads for his massive entourage so he can do a photo op and then leave.

He’ll probably just buzz Manhattan with AF1 again to give Moochie and her Snarling Posse one last chance to moon Lady Liberty

Summation of Bloomberg's statement:
President Obama, Hurricane Sandy just rolled through here, we don't need two catastrophes coming though New York City in the same week.

Bing, bing, bing. We have a winner!

Bloomie said it was ‘fine’ for Obama to visit NJ, he doesn’t care, but he has a big job just in NYC.
Have you ever been in a locale during a presidential visit? It’s beyond disruptive, especially when there’s work to get done. It’s why Bush (wisely) chose not to go into NOLA too soon.

Good for Bloomberg!
Finally something I can agree with him on.
So let him put obama in his place for a change. It’s about time SOMEONE did.
Are you sure you’re on the right forum?

Mike Bloomberg is far from me politically. However, he is 100% right. No one in NYC should be wasting time entertaining Obama. They have serious work to do.
On the other hand, I watched Christie this morning fawning over Obama. How he has had three telecons with him, that Obama was coming to tour NJ tomorrow and how Obama had declared NJ to be a disaster area and was sooooooo responsive to NJ’s needs. What an ass kisser, especially at this point in the campaign. It was like a slap in the face to Romney. What is it with this fat guy. Plus, he always seems so angry. I watched Christie being emotional before the cameras, and I watched Bloomberg being as cool as a cucumber. It was like watching an adult and a child.

oh,this is good news.
Unless he brings his own shovel and bucket, the last thing these people need is a visit from The Won.

Somehow, this is not breaking news. Well, there are differing opinions on that. As a New Yorker, I think it is.
I love it.
