Linky Thing: FEMA / WH Send Storm Victims to the Internet

the idiots are telling victims (millions of whom are without power) to get their relief information from the internet.

Incompetent IDIOTS!

Too late Obama. Games over. It’s the economy and he loses.

Expect a flurry of “briefings’, “discussion groups” and “summits” but zero action.

38 people dead, 8 million without power and somehow our media makes this about Obama and his hat...

Way to politicize the storm, zOmbies.

Eight weeks later, and the PRESIDENT Resident hasn't even been able to find out who told our CIA operatives in Northern Africa to STAND DOWN.

But not to worry folks on the East Coast, he'll get right on disaster relief. Honest.

My take: Axelrod, Plouffe, and Jarrett decided he'd get more votes looking Presidential and in charge for a week (even though he'd be doing very little) compared with demagoging small crowds on the stump. He'd also get more free TV coverage.

It's all calculated. He could have campaigned every day and convened meetings on AF1 about disaster relief, and would have if his advisors thought it better. They are probably hoping that Romney, out of respect for the victims, would call off his campaigning while the President was busy, so as not to grab an unseemly advantage.

Wouldn't that be like a reverse McCain move? In the last election, McCain suspended his campaign to go to DC while the economy was in crisis, but Obama kept right on hammering away.

This is a good way to find out how useless government is. Having been through a major hurricane the following is you see helping for the first few days. In no particular order, yourself, neighbors, churches, and fire departments. Government shows up eventually.

So obozo is back to using the storm for campaign purposes and that makes it time for Romney and company to get back on the campaign track and begin hitting him up on the major problems like the economy, bengazi, etc.

If you are nice to them and give them any leeway they will beat you over the head with it. The democrats deserve no consideration so don’t give it to them.

So after 4 years Obama decides to try this leadership thingie?

In fairness, I guess he promised hope and change, not leadership.

The president has snapped up the opportunity to put on his commander-in-chief hat in the final week of a bitter reelection battle. He quickly canceled events in Orlando, Fla., and Youngstown, Ohio, on Monday before the storm had made landfall on the East Coast, so he could return to the White House and oversee preparation and response efforts. He made a statement in the briefing room Monday, and the White House has issued repeated statements about his ongoing briefings, including overnight into the morning hours on Tuesday.

Again the libs with the imperial Presidency. Obama is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, not the country. He can have all the briefings he likes about storms and floods, and direct this response and that, but none of it has a thing to do with him being commander in chief.

We know this because we know the Constitution and what it says. Moreover, we know that this joke of a President showed on 9/11 in Benghazi that he has no idea or guts to be commander in chief when he did absolutely nothing while four Americans were attacked and murdered by terrorists. OF course, this wasn't optimal for Obama, so off he went to hobnob with his rich and famous friends instead. There's your commander in chief, Politico, though not for much longer.

Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, both former Navy SEALs working under the State Department, were killed alongside U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and information management officer Sean Smith.

You weren’t there for them, why would anybody believe you now?

He is over compensating for his extreme weakness in the Benghazi debacle.
