The president has snapped up the opportunity to put on his commander-in-chief hat in the final week of a bitter reelection battle. He quickly canceled events in Orlando, Fla., and Youngstown, Ohio, on Monday before the storm had made landfall on the East Coast, so he could return to the White House and oversee preparation and response efforts. He made a statement in the briefing room Monday, and the White House has issued repeated statements about his ongoing briefings, including overnight into the morning hours on Tuesday.

Again the libs with the imperial Presidency. Obama is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, not the country. He can have all the briefings he likes about storms and floods, and direct this response and that, but none of it has a thing to do with him being commander in chief.

We know this because we know the Constitution and what it says. Moreover, we know that this joke of a President showed on 9/11 in Benghazi that he has no idea or guts to be commander in chief when he did absolutely nothing while four Americans were attacked and murdered by terrorists. OF course, this wasn't optimal for Obama, so off he went to hobnob with his rich and famous friends instead. There's your commander in chief, Politico, though not for much longer.

I watched and listened his spech today given during a visit to Red Cross headquarters. It was ice cold. No feeling whatsoever!!! He again, could care less about you common peons.

The American people better wise up and clearly understand that there is no such thing as a free lunch from the Obama Federal Government lock-steppers!!! You just witnessed how effective they were in responding to Hurrican Sandy.

At the end of the day folks, it goes like this, first you depend on your family, second, you depend on your friends and neighbors, thirdly, you depend on your local “First Responders”, fourth, your depend on your local small businesses to bring life and service back into communities. The likes of dictator Obama, and his communist/socialist, big brother government are just useless, and... Obama certainly is!!!! Now.....your local government leaders, Governors, Christie, Cuomo, McDonnell, Jindal, Scott, Walker, Daniels, etc., as a rule do a very good job of providing both leadership and positive actions,. but....Obama and his Democrat dirt bag ilk = nothing but zero!!!
