Now, in 12 days, the nation will return to the polls to reject, or to ratify, the results of the great Barack Obama experiment.
That is, to reject or to ratify the notion that hoping for change is a sound footing for productive national policy.

I wouldn’t say “bravely red”. NYC has 7 million people. Even if only 25% is red, that still gives them a larger audience than the entire city of Philadelphia. Smart that someone actually tries to tap into that minority, but extremely large market.
True, and same situation in a lot of other northeastern cities. When I was a kid the favorite around my house was the NY Daily News, but I wouldn’t give them a click now, or let the rag in my front door. Those were different days. (The Post wasn’t worth reading until after Murdoch bought it in 1976.)
Wanna bet the NY Daily News, a tabloid rag written at the reading level of 5 year olds, endorses 0bama?
NYC has 8 million people at least from the last census.
