I wonder if this is the so called October Surprise. If so it's pathetic and desperate attempt grasping for straws. Seems Amazon has Kindle version for 3.99 LOL.

Just so long as the dang machine coughs up a vote for Romney, I just couldn’t care less, I will be relieved.

Around here (walking distance from Romney’s former mansion in Belmont), ballots are paper. You blacken the appropriate ovals and shove the completed ballot into the slot. The machine reads in the ballot, tallies it, and stores it. If there’s a problem, there is always recourse to the stored paper ballots.

Pssssst,...I discovered the seekrit Romney Republican machine computer code!
void main()
{
Cout << "Enter your vote for Obama or Romney";
Cin >> Your_vote_for_president;
If Obama then
{
Romney_vote = vote_Obama + 1;
}
Else
{
Romney_vote > Obama_vote;
}
cout << "Romney Wins Ohio!";
endl;
}

This is all a bunch of BS. As far as I can tell, all of OH has gone to optical scan machines with paper back up at a very great expense thanks to the whining and complaining by the Democrats about the computer terminals used in OH after they complained about the punch cards.

Through a closely held equity fund called Solamere, Mitt Romney and his wife, son and brother are major investors in an investment firm called H.I.G. Capital. H.I.G. in turn holds a majority share and three out of five board members in Hart Intercivic, a company that owns the notoriously faulty electronic voting machines that will count the ballots in swing state Ohio November 7. Hart machines will also be used elsewhere in the United States. Is this truly the best they can come up with?
I guess this will be the battle cry to try to claim Romney's win is not legitimate and he in fact cheated to win, same way as the left claims Bush cheated to win 2000 and 2004.
To: Orange1998
The GOP lacks the moxie to pull a stunt of that kind.

Gee, it’d be a real shame if someone with a DU account posted this story at the DUmp. Might get them just a mite riled up, knowwhatImean?

I don’t believe this story for one minute. Presidential candidate investing in voting machines sounds like a Clancy novel.

Blogs are already reporting on it. This is not something originating here.
Its as laughable as someone claiming the moon landing was staged because of shadows. Give me a break.

The Dummies are preparing their members for the inevitable loss. Remember in 2004 they made the same claim based on exit polls.
I am surprised they haven’t been spreading the David Icke “Reptilians under Mormon temple in Salt Lake City” meme yet. Maybe they are saving that for the next four years.
