The race to be New Hampshire’s next governor remains tight.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely New Hampshire voters finds Republican Ovide Lamontagne with 48% of the vote to Democrat Maggie Hassan’s 46%. Five percent (5%) are undecided at this point. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The numbers were reversed last week when Hassan held 48% of the vote to Lamontagne’s 46%, highlighting the closeness of the race. In late September, Lamontagne had a 48% to 44% advantage over Hassan.

Ninety-seven percent (97%) of voters in the Granite State are certain they will vote this November. Of those voters, 49% support Lamontagne, and 46% back Hassan.

Hassan, a former state senator, is viewed favorably by 46% and unfavorably by 44%. These ratings include Very Favorable reviews from 19% and Very Unfavorable ones from 27%.

For Lamontagne, who ran unsuccessfully for governor in 1996, reviews are 49% favorable, 43% unfavorable. Twenty-five percent (25%) view the Republican Very Favorably while 25% view him Very Unfavorably.

Mott Romney will win NH and Ovide LaMontagne will ride on his coattails into the Statehouse.

NH also added a photo ID requirement since the last election. It makes it harder to cheat.

Have been getting some intel about Hasaan being connected to the Islamic Jihad somehow, and how her winning the State House might advance Sharia in NH. Can anyone here address those concerns?

If she is an Islamic plant, then NH needs to get educated about Islam and it’s global agenda PDQ!
