Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi came to the Chronicle for an editorial board meeting Wednesday. I used the opportunity to ask Pelosi about her most famous and quoted statement from 2010. On March 9, 2010, Pelosi said of the Affordable Care Act, “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of controversy.”
What did you mean by that? I asked.
Pelosi said that the quote “was taken out of context” and it is most often quoted “by the far right.”

Yeah she read a page, so that allows her to say she read it.
It isn't possible to make up something bizarre enough to preclude it being a Pelosi quote.

My personal opinion is that ol’ Nan is just being herself; She never did read it, and is, per usual, lying her a$$ off!

I like the part where Hawkeye and Uncas, after being injured in Battle with Montcalm and the Hurons have their wounds treated for free at Fort Albany using native America medicines made from plant bark and herbal roots. Too bad they died of tetanus. But is was free. Meanwhile the Pelosi tribe sat out the war lounging on the Potomac and when anyone of them fell ill, they were treated by the King's royal physicians at Fort Walter Reed.
Gotta give her 4 Pinnochios (SP?) on that one. Heck, I can almost see her nose growing from Reno looking southwest.

In this day and age they can no longer just deny that they said something because it’s too easy to pull up a video proving they said it.
Their new favorite statement is “it was taken out of context”. They know the American people have a short attention span.

So, it only took four years for Nancy Pelosi to read the ObamaCare bill. Her lips must be very tired.
Here is a snippet of the actual bill, taken at random. You can’t just read it, you have to take apart and reassemble just about all current US law. Then you have to read what results. No one on earth can tell you how many pages that is. PPACA is the instruction manual to reassemble American society from the ground up. Pelosi cannot manage to read the instructions to assemble a bicycle.

Part A of title XXVII of the Public Health Service Act (42

(1) by striking the heading for subpart 1 and inserting

‘‘Subpart I—General Reform’’;
(2)(A) in section 2701 (42 U.S.C. 300gg), by striking the
section heading and subsection (a) and inserting the following:
‘‘SEC. 2704. PROHIBITION OF PREEXISTING CONDITION EXCLUSIONS
OR OTHER DISCRIMINATION BASED ON HEALTH STATUS.
‘‘(a) IN GENERAL.—A group health plan and a health insurance
issuer offering group or individual health insurance coverage may
not impose any preexisting condition exclusion with respect to such
plan or coverage.’’; and
(B) by transferring such section (as amended by subparagraph
(A)) so as to appear after the section 2703 added by
paragraph (4);
(3)(A) in section 2702 (42 U.S.C. 300gg–1)—
(i) by striking the section heading and all that follows
through subsection (a);
(ii) in subsection (b)—
(I) by striking ‘‘health insurance issuer offering
health insurance coverage in connection with a group
health plan’’ each place that such appears and inserting
‘‘health insurance issuer offering group or individual
health insurance coverage’’; and
(II) in paragraph (2)(A)—
(aa) by inserting ‘‘or individual’’ after
‘‘employer’’; and
(bb) by inserting ‘‘or individual health coverage,
as the case may be’’ before the semicolon;
and
(iii) in subsection (
