Can't be posted enough...it's apparent that DoD has been making the same stupid mistakes in fighting the Taliban that it made during Vietnam while fighting the VC.
And this (former) commander of the Stryker Brigade should know. Hence, his letter to the Secretary of the Army, which was supposedly sent under an "open door" policy but yet he was attacked and punished because of it.

Thanks and sent this off to MANY old and newer vets and it always comes back with a nasty FUBAR statement. Been almost 30 years ago for me so had to ask others if I was reading this mess right.
