Sugar Tuffy Rose
used to have a Black (Scott Type) American Bulldog
Bedford...he was pretty serious...too serious...he's now used for shows and hog hunting in GA
Johnsons are more Bully..and robust...Scotts are more American Southern Standard...rangy and blocky head...more athletic
I have been waiting for “just the right bloodlines” for about a year and a half.
Out of nowhere, I decided to contact the woman who has Odin’s dad, thinking [as I was told by somebody else] that she no longer had him, only to find that she did indeed and a gorgeous bitch with Briarwood lines was about to drop his litter ‘any time now’.
I’m putting this down to yet another “divine intervention dog’ because of all the places I’d looked, that lady was not on the list because I thought his dad was gone.
In another great piece of luck, the mom only had 4 puppies but happily, it was a 50/50 litter and I got first pick.
Too many ‘amazing coincidences’ to be dumb luck...:)
I have *all* of Odin’s puppy stuff saved, including all of his collars as he successively outgrew them so she’s set for that.
All his toys, his puppy bowls, his light leashes...everything, just like a mom saves all of her baby’s toys...LOL
She will be ready to come home on Halloween [go figger] but due to the breeder’s work schedule, it’ll be the first few days of November so about 3, *long*, agonizing weeks.
OTOH, I paid for Odin weeks before he was even born and waited almost 3 months to bring him home.
Theoretically, this *should* be easy.
[but it’s not]
;D
Beautiful dogs. I wouldn’t want to be on their bad side either.
Thanks! I hope this gets seen by every “undecided” voter.
Thanks for the quote!
