We had no idea that they needed more security!
- Joe Biden on Benghazi
Not quite 3 weeks old in that photo.
We went to see her for the first time and unbeknownst to the breeder, she had ~just~ opened her eyes.
First person she ever saw was me.
[poor thing]
;D
LOL
Ditto.
she gets her back up and they freeze...usually when they don't want to put that halter on...my grass is so good they get sprite fast...she is wifey's dog as u can guess..something happens to Sugar and wifey will be done fer
very nice...i am going to get me a boy and just bring him home soon
maybe a Rott...not sure
my old boy is off winning awards...and not biting anyone that I know of..lol
Just checkin’...heard you mention the horses and the wife partyin’ down but no dog.
LOL
Bet you cannot WAIT to bring her home...oh the joys of puppyhood...it’s like living with a clown! And someone is going to be so spoiled...she has no idea...LOL!
I wondered why you’d hadn’t mentioned him for a while but was too scared to ask where he was.
Good to hear he’s tearing up the ring!
I’d vote against Rotts for a while.
With the rampant bone cancer and other health issues, they need to straighten out the breed with a *lot* of Euro imports, first.
How about a nice Plott or Catahoula?
Both are gutsy dogs.
[maybe you might even get a Dobermann]
;D
I had an "ambush" encounter with a neighbor's pit bull puppy the other day. They opened the door, doggy jumped out before the owner had it secure, jumped up on me, tried to lick me to death, and acted more like a boxer than a pit. Dogs know who's a softy when it comes to dogs.
They told him to watch out for the gaffes, he thought they said be sure to laugh.
I’m a nervous wreck.
Unlike The Boy, she’s not just ‘down the pike a ways’ so I can’t visit her 3 times a week like I did him.
I can’t sleep and already have all her ‘puppy stuff’ set up for when she comes home.
[geeze...she’s had her registered name in my head for 3 years...I just had to wait for her to born into the world to give it to her]
:D
LOL! Yup!
It’s an American Bulldog, if I’m not mistaken.
My 11 year old daughter popped in while we were watching the debate. After a couple of minutes she said, “That young guy’s got a lot of patience. I’d want to smack that old guy in the face.”
Well, here’s the exact opposite scenerio:
You could have had occasional discussions (not really, more like sentences) “We should get a puppy.”
Then, your husband could go to a gun show, fall in “love”, sell a gun to purchase the 7-week-old object of his affection, and arrive home at 9:00 PM on a Friday night calling out as he walked in the door “I have a surprise for you!”
We had nothing, NOT ONE THING. Thankfully, he had stopped at PetSmart on the way home to purchase a stuffed pheasant toy (larger than the puppy, I might add) and bag of puppy food....and that is all.
That being said, in your shoes, I would be so anxious...it was probably better that it happened the way that it did!
How soon before she can come “home?”
LOL! She wasn’t the only one.
That’s right. I forgot about those. My cousin has an English one. Laid back dog most of time, but occasionally likes to lick someone to death.
I think the RNC just did. And remarkably fast!
American Bulldogs are not so inclined.
Wardaddy’s wife never has any worries, I’m sure.
:)
As far as Ryan not being confrontational enough and too polite, a Napoleon quote comes to mind, "When you see your enemy making mistakes, don't interrupt him".
