If Congress hands him a bill to sign that deals with the topic, he might do it. At most, the waffly wonk is promising he’s not going to stump for any sort of legislation dealing with the topic. Which given Congress’ proclivity for gluing together disparate topics in one bill, is likely not going to be a promise kept very long.

How long are people going to beat this drum? He said “There’s no legislation with regards to abortion that I’m familiar with that would become part of my agenda,” ... that is an open ended statement at best. IOW ... there is no current bill that he’s going to jump on. This is not a flip-flop in the issue.
