President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney may be nearly tied among voters as a whole, but among military members, the former Massachusetts governor is obliterating the president, 66 percent to 26 percent, according to a new poll from the Military Times.
To be sure the survey covers only military personnel who subscribe to the paper. This population is older and more senior than the military population at large, but it is representative of the professional core of the all-volunteer force, the Times says.
Interestingly enough, 41 percent of respondents said the economy is the most important issue, compared to only 16 percent for national security.
There is really an affinity for Republican candidates, even though [troops] say that what counts is character and handling the economy, Richard Kohn, who teaches military history at the University of North Carolina, told the Times.

which is why he is suppressing the military vote everyplace that he can. he would send the entire armed forces off to temporary duty to the moon if he could.
I wonder if
1) They will have the facilities to vote
2) Their votes will be counted.

In 2008 McCain won the miltary by 10% and Bush got them by 16% in 2004.
It’s too bad that only a minority of the military vote will be counted due to obstructive tactics by the Obama administration and Soros supported Secretaries of State in various critical states.
Romney needs to remind people that the military won’t work on “my behalf” but for the country. BO said the military works on his behalf- so arrogant.
Have you seen the “acting” director of the voting assistance office in the Pentagon?

I read here about a week ago, that the government was making voting machines hard to get to, if one is in the military.
Military votes should be couriered by SEAL force protection teams to to the Secretary of State for each state, and the vote validation and count observed.
