On the heels of an absolutely miserable debate performance… yet another problem for the Obama campaign.
There's another tape. This time with Jeremiah Wright. And a very curious video.
"Grace and peace be unto you," begins Wright, smiling, his voice calm and low.
It's June 23, 2007 -- a mere 18 days after the now infamous Obama speech at Hampton University that the Daily Caller and the Drudge Report titled as "Obama's Other Race Speech." An angry, racially divisive speech in which Obama effortlessly slides into a Southern accent, shouting "The people down in New Orleans they [the Bush administration and the federal government] don't care about as much!"
The event: The United Church of Christ's 26th General Synod, the bi-annual gathering of UCC pastors and lay leaders from across the country, meeting that year in Hartford, Connecticut. (Note: Full Disclosure: I have served as both president of my local UCC Church Council and as a member of the UCC's Penn Central Conference Board of Directors.)
This time Trinity UCC's Reverend Jeremiah Wright isn't sitting somewhere off camera while receiving accolades from then-Senator Obama. No, this time Wright is front and center to introduce his famous parishioner -- by videotape.
The 40-plus-minute tape begins with the appearance of then-UCC General President, the Reverend John Thomas, taking the stage to announce Obama's appearance. Thomas explains that Reverend Wright will be introducing Obama.
But wait! There's a catch!........

If all the videos from ‘08 didn’t convince people nothing will. Just wondering if Obama loses if he will pull old Jeremmiah Wright out from under that bus?
What crud!! “O” really DID crawl out of a sewer.
Nothing on earth and no amount of time will neutralize “O’s” racist and anti-American extremism!
It’s too bad, but I am certain that the “O” myth will only perpetuate over time and books, films, etc. will be foisted on to the public depicting “O” as some kind of superhuman god.
I sincerely hope that at some point, Americans will have another minority leader who actually loves this country, understands the world and our place in it and who will redeem them... because “O” has done minorities in America NO GOOD! They deserved much, much better!
In the meantime, “O” is nothing but a malicious, idiotic, mindless cypher, shabby poseur and an absolutely 5th rate politician.
I’m thinking this is part of steady slow drip of tapes that are being released and there are more to come around each debate when people are paying more attention (I know, only we pay attention, but...).
The Clintons are working overtime, I see.

Because what America is seeing here is a pattern of deceit.
In light of the uncovering of the Hampton University video of Obama by Tucker Carlson's Daily Caller, its appearance on the Drudge Report and its televising by Sean Hannity, and in light of Obama's incredibly poor performance when confronted directly in debate by a polite, persistent, and knowledgeable Mitt Romney -- the obvious question arises.
Is Barack Obama really the person his buddies in the liberal media have been trying to sell to Americans for the last eight years since Obama burst onto the national scene with his 2004 speech at the Democratic Convention?
Is the whole Obama-era a confected sham that boils down to a nice looking guy with teleprompter skills and far left politics, shielded and protected by the media?......
Horrible article. Long, rambling, and in the end leaves you thinking “where’s the beef”.
Let me save others the time with this summary: Basically it’s a video tape of Obama speaking in a way that is in sharp contrast to the OTHER video that Drudge broke a few days ago. He is speaking to a mostly white audience, and saying low-key things. The author says (rightly) that the contrast shows a pattern of deceit.
I can’t see this getting a passing mention even in most conservative media. We’ve got tons of damning data on Obowmao, no need to waste our time with this crapola.

The other main point in the article is Axelrod’s strong arming of Wright to push him aside and diminish Obama’s ties to Wright.
And the underlying current to it all is the absolute malpractice of the drive by media in their failure to investigate Obama’s past and disclose it to the public.
Assisted by Obama’s various con men and women, the drive bys, with blinders on, presented an image of a modern day savior.
By relying solely on TOTUS for the last four years, Obama has lost whatever skills he used to have in thinking on his feet and voicing ideas in his own words.
He wasn’t that great in 2008, but in contrast he looked much better than McCain and the debates in that race (other than the VP one) were not decisive.
I recall being stunned at Obama’s first pressers as POTUS. He rambled, stumbled, stammered, and made absolutely no sense. And I was equally stunned that the media thought he was absolutely wonderful no matter how bad he sounded.
It wasn’t long before TOTUS appeared and it has been his constant companion ever since. So it’s TOTUS and canned stump speeches which he can’t vary much or else he reveals his true nature.
