BELGRADE - The Islamic Community of Serbia joined the request of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Movement "Dveri" to ban the photo exhibition "ECCE homo" because, as assessed, is defiling the image of Jesus Christ and insult the Christian believers.
"Starting from the premise that Koran believers believe in all of God's messengers and make no distinction between them, Jesus - Jesus, the peace of God with him, God's darling - the anointed, the holy Muslim believers and Christians," the statement said the Islamic Community of Serbia in Belgrade.
Riyasat considered role models that believers must not and can not be the fictions that are contrary to their real lives and roles in society. "This is not art or freedom of speech, it is consciously and clearly insulting believers and faith. Muslims feel just as hurt as the desecration of the character of Jesus, and when this was done with the image of Muhammad blessed", says the Meshihats.
Therefore, the statement added, meshihat joins the demands of the Serbian Patriarch Irenaeus and the Serbian movement "Dveri".

Ping!
Mighty kind of the Islamists to stand up for Christians in opposing this ‘art exhibit’. Now if only they’d stop killing them & tearing down their places of worship.
“ban”. Wrong!
You don’t combat non-freedom with more non-freedom.
You allow perfect freedom, then politely request that people not use their rights in offensive ways.
Muslims never can get this right. Their religion is one of control and diktat.
I thought they had killed them all in the 90s? At least in Serbia. When will these people learn that Jihadists bring nothing positive to society.
