Naftali Bennet, a candidate for leadership of the Jewish Home party, said Tuesday that he agrees with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that Defense Minister Ehud Barak is making trouble between Israel and the United States. The behavior of Ehud Barak, who creates crises in order to be the one to fix them, is known, he said.
The question is, why isnt Netanyahu fixing the crisis-maker and freeing us from the damage done by Ehud Barak? Bennet continued. Netanyahu must take charge and fire the Defense Minister, not be a political analyst in the matter of crises created ...

Keep Barak, fire Barack.............
It’s incredible to me that he ever made Ehud Barak Defense Minister in the first place. He’s about as suitable for the job as Leon Panetta.
But at least Obama had a reason for appointing Panetta—he wanted someone to help destroy our military.
What if we, for just four years, had a Pan-American/Israel nation...with Bibi as President? :) We keep a Republican Congress/Senate, Bibi is the chief executive.
Hmm. ;-)
What a wonderful idea. I hear Michael Jackson (pre-weird-weird-wierdo) singing “Take the world, make it a better place, for you and for me and the entire human race! Fire Ehud Barak, he’s a big disgrace. Fire Barack Hussein Obama, he needs to be replaced!” Millions sing in chorus. The song continues: “Then arrest Eric Holder, who lost track of guns like a rooky! For you and for me and the entire human race!” Sing along with me people! There’s dancing in the streets.
What a wonderful vision. Sigh. It won’t be long now. Can we last until then?
I think he was aiming for some kind of “unity” government
Ehud Barak was also the commander of Bibi’s elite unit, so it’s an old soldier-type thing.
And Jean Kerri served in Vietnam.
He did? You think he’d mention it!

An internal issue.
The question is, why isnt Netanyahu fixing the crisis-maker and freeing us from the damage done by Ehud Barak?
Because with an attack on Iran looming, Barak is a great military asset. And he was Bibi’s CO and Bibi works well with him.
A “great military asset” who undermines his PM, and alienates his political base? Who blackmails the government with his supposed military prowess on the eve of war? If Israel were a military dictatorship with no diplomatic relationships with anyone, he’d be a “great military asset”. What he is in the real world is a one-trick pony who hasn’t even done that one trick in a long time, and sabotages his only friend. Wars aren’t fought in a vacuum. Political and diplomatic factors are ignored at one’s peril.
Ehud must go.
