The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows President Obama attracting support from 48% of voters nationwide, while Mitt Romney earns the vote from 46%. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided. See daily tracking history.

Four years ago today, Rasmussen Reports tracking showed Obama leading John McCain by a 51% to 45% margin. The numbers barely budged for the rest of the campaign season as Obama enjoyed a comfortable lead and stayed between 50% and 52% every day for the last 40 days.

When “leaners” are included, it’s now Obama 49%, Romney 47%.

Just wait until after the debates, during which Romney will be channeling Bob Dole.

What is odd is the only a couple of weeks ago on days that Obama was running at -14 he was polling at 43% - 45%.

A few weeks ago I thought Romney would win in a landslide...and he should. But he’s run a poor campaign. Probably the worst since Dewey in ‘48; another guy who thought that the economy was so bad all he had to do was show up to win.

Clearly that’s not working. He’s got the debates though. Something Dewey never had.

Attack. Attack. and attack again. Does Mitt have the gonads to call out Obama and his media on the facts? If he does he can win, if not he’s a sure loser.

The MSM is going to castigate him no matter what he says...so he might as well tell the truth. Including Obama getting to colleges as a foreign student. Phony IDs including a social security number that’s been recycled.

Tell the truth Mitt and you win.

RAS is starting to look like the rest of the skewed polls.
I think he’s scared to show Romney leading. Once in a blue moon he does just so the media does not rip into him and accuse him of being in the tank for Romney. This race will be about enthusiasm and the republicans have it and the demoncrats don’t. End of story.

Mitt certainly had what it took to destroy fellow republicans during the primaries. Haven’t seen that guy since Florida.

Candidates have to report their contributions quarterly. Sept 30 is
a quarter deadline.

IF you donate TODAY, it will show up in the report in a few weeks. ANd it’s the last report before election day.

The media is going to seize on the fact Obama raised XX dollars,
and Romney XX. candidate XX versus XXX.

That’s why if you are going to donate to Todd Akin, you should do it
TODAY so it shows up on the report.

ALso, Romney, whoever you want to win.

The media want to demoralize us. Therefore it is the utmost
importance for conservatives give the rest we were going to
give TODAY.

Thanks.

Consider a small donation today online, especially for Senate to go REpub

Mitt certainly had what it took to destroy fellow republicans during the primaries.

That's because Mitt had absolute contempt for conservatives and conservatism to fuel his passion. Now that he's running against one of his own? Not so much.

You have a special way with words. I think I would rather watch the “Romney is the only one who can beat Obama” crowd, drag HIS ass over the finish line.

I was shocked to see that Rassmussen himself spoke about the expected 2-4 pt democratic edge in this years presidential voting. The logical question to ask is, why would any self respecting conservative pollster make such a statement?

Now I know that Rasmussen is a private citizen, and his company is a private company. His company’s financial information will never be released, and there are no laws requiring that the information should be released.

But have you ever wondered how much would it take to buy a pollster? Would $10 million be enough? How about 50 or 100?

Now of course I’m not saying this has happened to Rasmussen, but I will say this. We all know that corruption exists in this country today. We also know with certainty there have been documented cases where judges, journalists, politicians, and yes even pollsters were not immune.

Following politics everyday is too much. Rush used say we should avoid watching the evening news. Skip the Sunday news shows, he would watch them, tell uswhat happened and as an added bonus tell us what to think :)
Might be time to let up on the political junk food.
