I guess evil is going to win.

It is sweeping the entire globe.

I guess we can wait for Jesus to come down and save us, but something tells me not to hold my breath...

It’s starting to look like Barry has locked up the Obamaphone vote. Free stuff trumps freedom these days in this country. Bigtime. Romney was right about the 47 percenters. Soccer moms and NASCAR dads are out. This looks like it’s going to be the year of the Obamaphone voter.

It’s gotta be something else though. My gut tells me it’s something with the international bankers and globalists. Not to get too conspiratorial but was he spooked somehow? You can say all you want about Romney. He’s not all that conservative, he’s pliable, etc. But he is smart, very capable and he has enough money to get the best people and data available. A capable person who really want to be president would not run this campaign. My only conclusion leads me to believe he has been spooked and is throwing the election. Unless his entire strategy becomes apparent in the next week or so.

Why is everyone so surprised? Romney is running a shit campaign. I see Obama and Clinton ads every half hour. On cooking shows, on sports shows, on news shows. EVERYWHERE. I haven’t seen a Romney ad in days. And would it matter if I did? All he talks about is the stupid debt, which NO ONE cares about. He will not go after Obama, because his advisers tell him “but the NYT and Politico might call you a racist!!!” If this doesn’t change within 1 week he is toast.

Having the incumbent under 50% is more damaging to Obama than Romeny’s being under 48 percent.

I think Romney is simply a bland personality. Obamas campaign has effectively turned Romney’s own economic message against him, in that he only cares about the wealthy, it is working. Anyone who listened to the primary debates had to know it was coming, except for Romney who was let off the hook time and again by the republican pundits. Unfortunately, the democrats have exploited every aspect of Mitt’s financial world, something that was hands off in the primaries. We will see how “the only guy who can beat Obama” message works out for us.

I’m sorry, but I DON’T believe these numbers. Think about it. It’s simply not possible for Hussein to win with as big a vote as 2008. There’s massive buyer’s remorse out there, massive unemployment, massive gas price increases, massive tax increases on the horizon, massive healthcare cost increases (and even bigger ones looming), massive healthcare disruptions, massive attacks on businesses, massive youth unemployment, massive antisemitism, refusal to build the XL pipeline, ad. nauseum. And all of the folks affected by these things are going to merrily trot to the polls and joyfully pull the lever to vote for four more years of this? Right.

And we’re supposed to believe that Hussein will win with the same margin? I’m not buying it. Personally, I think Hussein is going to be blown out of the water. People are either ducking the polls (like me), or they are lying (like some friends of mine do).

An incumbent with numbers below 50% has never won.

“There is a plethora of material that can be used against Obama, yet Romney is choosing not to use it. He consistently uses the same tired economic speeches, that obviously aren’t working. We have had twelve recent embassies attacked by terrorists, the murder of an ambassador, and we lost many at Ft. Hood in another terrorist attack. Obama has openly attacked the constitution, has relied on people like Van Jones as a czar, has promoted class warfare, and the list goes on. Romney can’t find anything else to talk about?”

Exactly! That is why he’s losing. Can you imagine if he went after what Obama has done on immigration? They are so scared of losing the hispanic vote, but don’t realize that this issue galvanizes 70% of the American public.

I take that back and should never say "never".

How can 0 lead among women by only 5 points (he won women by 14% over McCain in 2008) and still be ahead? Doesn't that raise a red flag?

Alan puts sharp focus on my worst fear. If all the Conservatives, except 1, had dropped out of the primaries early, we wouldn’t be looking @ this non-choice in November. In that sense, Conservatives, or the Conservative Candidates, did this to themselves. It’s like we need a Conservative Primary before the official primary, so we don’t water down the Conservative votes in the official primary.

IMHO, something or someone has “absolutely” got to Romney - just like those same people got to Chief Justice Roberts (to change his vote on Obamacare) and every sitting member of Congress AND Trump on the BC issue.

There’s some big power pulling the strings..and all the rest is window dressing.

Anyone who “really” wants to win and be next POTUS CANNOT run as inept and totally non-existent, bland campaign as Romney.

My wife the other day asked “hey, I thought there was supposed to be a Presidential campaign going on..WHERE IS IT?”.

Romney does not appear to be running to win. Period. For WHATEVER reason. He’s not even doing an effective job faking it.

Has to be. That's why we have a president who watches ESPN all day, doesn't go to briefings and goes to bed when an "international crisis" is brewing. Because he knows he doesn't really have to make any calls, he just shows up and reads the prepared statements.

A poster made the claim that a deal was struck btw Obama and the banksters/Wall Street before the last election. No investigations and no indictments in exchange for the radical left to seize power. Perhaps another deal has been struck and, for whatever reason, they have determined Romney is not the guy.

None of that excuses the fact that American citizens should be in the streets with pitchforks over so many issues and they are not. No conspiracy theory in the world can explain that phenomenon.
