If I put myself in the position of the guy ordered to convince the world that I'd scanned some sort of a real birth certificate for Bork Obunga, the very last thing I'd ever do is post some six or seven part pdf file on the internet, I'd anticipate my own mother calling me a lying SOB if I did that. The ONLY thing I'd ever post would be some pure bitmap image, either a bmp or tif image.
Moreover, any technically competent person that the Bork (Obunga) admin were to give that assignment to would have known that; you have to assume that whoever did that scan and post had to be a near computer illiterate.
Then you ask yourself why a near computer illiterate would have drawn that assignment, and the answer is not difficult. When Attila the Hun died, the Huns killed every member of the burial detail which had buried him so that his grave would never be found. When Genghis Khan died, same thing, to this day nobody has any clue as to where either Attila or Genghis Khan might be buried.
There are some assignments which nobody wants despite any glory which might be attached to them, simply because no amount of money would compensate for the occupational hazards attached to them and being the only person on Earth to know what exactly had been posted on the internet for the benefit of Bork Obunga's continued general recognition as a "natural born US citizen(TM)" is one of them.
My guess is that either Bork himself or some member of his immediate family posted that pdf file.

Probably not. But what you say makes it less likely that the document is a forgery.
If you want a forgery you probably get somebody who at least half-way knows how to do it and make it at least half-way convincing.
Doubtful that Obama or anyone in his immediate family would know where to begin or would get even as far as producing the document we're talking about.

Me too. I know there was a story that came from Israel in the summer of 2008 saying he was born abroad. It was on this site but I can't find it. That was the story that forever hooked me in.

I agree, but if Romney DID pull out all the stops and exposed the dude for what he is, prosecuted all who were culpable in this fraud and otherwise let the chips fall where they may, I would have to change my view of the man in a big way. For the better, by the way.

Yet my wife's uncle (a confirmed liberal) who is *very* proficient in photoshop, nearly as good as I am, refused to admit the thing was PS (photo shopped or piece of sh*t, take your choice). When I forced him to admit it couldn't be a plain scan of a document, he then resorted to the tried and true. Someone else faked it, I didn't really get it off the WH web site. Which I most certainly did. Uh, then, it was a spoofed WH web site, not the real thing. And on and on and on.
I almost threw up listing to the myriad of lame excuses after he conceded that it was baloney. But...it was a saboteur's baloney. Obummer couldn't have done it.
