RIP.
His family was so poor when they emigrated to the United States that they could only afford one vowel.
Oh, that is sad. RIP Dr Szasz.
While I suppose he had his points, every article I read by him left me thinking he was a crank.
He seemed to firmly believe that nobody whatsoever was insane. Sorry, but reality doesn’t work that way.
Remember Marxism states that they should take over that particular science and start deeming anyone opposed to their agenda to be of unsound mind and have them committed.
(snicker)
A recent example, exercised by our current Marxist leadership, was the arresting and putting a veteran in the psychiatric ward based on his facebook and blog comment relating to BHO. He was eventually freed, but a perfect example of the abuse authoritarian marxist governments intentionally use phychiatry for.
The world has lost a great and wise mind.
Are there particular book titles that freepers would recommend by him?
A great Syracusan.
It is largely polemical, not really a serious scientific work, but it was very influential, especially among the counter-culture. I don't know of anything else that wasn't basically a rehash of the original.
thanks.
Bump.....
