You Obamabots once again misread and misunderstand Mitts staunch conservative philosophy. Do I need the sarc tag?

The man needs to fire his advisors and start listening to the people on the right who don’t like him. At least we’ll tell him the truth.

Other than love for his country, you are correct. But statism eventually destroys a military due the welfare state. And love is powerless in a cruel world.

Romney is trying really hard to lose this election.

The people complaining the loudest about where Romney chooses to speak probably never intended to vote for him anyway.

I know what — let’s make Bill Clinton’s endorsement seem really really important, so that people finally care that he’s supporting Obama. What the hell is Romney thinking?

First Romney says there’s parts of ObamaCare he likes

Please stop spewing this MSM drivel and propaganda. He said no such thing. I watched the interview and below is from the MTP transcript. Where the hell do you see anything about Obamacare or the parts that Romney "likes?"

GREGORY: Well, let me ask you about a couple of specific areas. On healthcare, you say that you would rescind the president’s healthcare plan on day one. Does that mean that you’re prepared to say to Americans, young adults and those with pre-existing conditions, that they would no longer be guaranteed healthcare?

MR. ROMNEY: Well, of course not. I say we're going to replace Obamacare. And I'm replacing it with my own plan. And, you know, even in Massachusetts where I was governor, our plan there deals with pre-existing conditions and with young people. Everybody…

GREGORY: So you'd keep that part of the federal plan?

MR. ROMNEY: Well, I'm not getting rid of all of healthcare reform. Of course, there are a number of things that I like in healthcare reform that I'm going to put in place. One is to make sure that those with pre-existing conditions can get coverage. Two is to assure that the marketplace allows for individuals to have policies that cover their-- their family up to whatever age they might like. I also want individuals to be able to buy insurance, health insurance, on their own as opposed to only being able to get it on a tax advantage basis through their company.

I’d love to see Obama lose but if the convention didn’t tell you this guy (Romney) is a sure loser I don’t know what will. He isn’t even willing to draw a difference between him and his opponent moreover calling him the Al Qaeda Sympathizer what he should be called. This is a disaster waiting to happen. I would love to be wrong, I hope I am, but sorry, I’m not wrong. 4 Conventions and still no one has heard who Obama really is.

So if he goes he is "traitor to the cause" and if he doesn't he is a "coward afraid to face beast Clinton."

Don't you pathetic "Anyone but Romney" shills ever get tired of being such predictable Obamabots?

Being conservative, I would speak if I were invited.

Taking a quick look at the guest list, it would be stupid not to . . . .

Today, President Bill Clinton announced that President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney will participate in the eighth Annual Meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative joining world leaders in government, business, philanthropy, and civil society who gather each year to create and implement solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. President Obama and Governor Romney will address separate sessions during the final day of the Annual Meeting to be held September 23-25 in New York City.

“I’m grateful that President Obama and Governor Romney are taking time to join leaders from all parts of society who choose to address our greatest global challenges through the Clinton Global Initiative,” said President Clinton. “CGI is built on the spirit of non-partisan, cross-sector collaborations that drive action and I’m proud that, since we began in 2005, CGI members have made more than 2,100 commitments that are already improving the lives of 400 million people all over the world.”

Not only is Romney not a conservative, but it's increasingly unclear to me whether he's any better than Obama. At least with Obama, Congressional Republicans have something of a backbone. Do you really think Boehner and McConnell will stand up to Romney?

Romney's now indicating that he'll support most of ObamaCare. Unbelievable!

I know the motto of this election is anyone but Obama, but Romney is really trying to see how much I can stand and still vote for him. My patience is wearing thin...

As of this week I'm off the wagon. Romney lost me when he came out for ObamaCare Lite. What is this man thinking? I may yet hold my nose and vote for him, but I'm really worried that Boehner and McConnell will just roll over for Romney and allow him to be Obama Lite (whereas they're actually doing a pretty good job now of opposing Obama). Thinking in practical terms, would a Romney Presidency be any better than another Obama one? I'm honestly not sure -- so much for democracy.

It's unbelievable because its not true.

He did not indicate he'll support most of Obamacare. He named two "reforms" that his plan has in common with Obamacare. There are literally hundreds of aspects of Obamacare, so agreeing with two of them is not that bad.

He's on the record as opposing the individual mandate and supporting tort reform, both of which make the two aspects he agrees with quite minor.

Sorry but the pre-existing conditions part only works with an individual mandate. He may hem and haw, but if he doesn’t do a mandate, you’ll have pure community rating and nobody will be able to afford insurance. I might give the benefit of the doubt to a lifetime conservative, but Mitt’s record in Massachusetts is pretty dubious here.
