Against clear evidence to the contrary, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa declared that proposed amendments to the Democratic Party platform--re-inserting God and a commitment to Jerusalem as Israels capital--had passed with the necessary two-thirds majority.
It was fraud, pure and simple; even CNN wasnt buying it.
Nonetheless, Democrats and their allies continue to insist that voter fraud is something that never happens.
The NAACP, for instance, has just issued a statement declaring: There's a greater chance of being struck by lightning than that voter fraud will occur in a federal election.
(Not the best analogy, given that one of the excuses for moving President Barack Obamas speech indoors was the supposed threat of lightning.)
Yet Americans witnessed fraud in broad daylight at the Democratic National Convention. The cause may have been just; the changes may have been good and necessary; but the fact was that the amendments did not pass by voice vote, and the delegates ought to have taken a roll call vote.
The country deserves to know whether Democrats support their own declared policies and which Democrats, in particular, support or oppose them.
The potential for fraud--and the actual commission of fraud--occurs far more often than Democrats want to admit.

I like that, it's about all he's good for. :-)
brilliant.
Amen.
You still need a picture ID to get into the Dem convention.
“Without an efficient (Prob electronic) method of polling votes, they are both limited to voice votes and subjective interpretation of the results.”
The Republican one wasn’t subjective - it was obvious the no vote was louder - twice - and it was obvious they called it the way they wanted it, plus they refused to do a role call vote as required by the rules. That vote will effectively throw out conservative and Tea Party participation in the future. That is much more damage than the Democrat fake vote to put words back in resolutions.
The intelligent thing to do is store water and food as neither party can prevent what is coming.
“A less time consuming process would be to caucus and vote.”
The way role call votes are taken at a convention is this: If it’s a state convention, the county chair of each county passes out slips for his/her delegates to mark. Then, the chair totals the votes and reports it to the designated person who is recording the vote of all counties.
At a national convention, the state chairman of each state uses the county chairman of each county to collect those votes and the state total is given to the state chairman to report that vote to the person recording all the states’ vote.
This system has been in place for many years and has worked well. The process was ignored by the Republican Party and the Democrat Party because they were going to have it their way no matter what.
Thanks, Foolsgold, that’s great!
BINGO!! It’s not who VOTES....it’s who COUNTS the votes, that matter.
