I wouldn’t shed any tears if a sink hole gobbled up their entire convention so i’m not shocked they wish the same on ours.

The hurricane will GO NORTH and lay waste North Carolina where they have their own convention scheduled the next week.

If they're laughing they won't be two weeks from now.

This is the biggest complaint about Leftwingtards ~ they are UNABLE to think more than a couple of steps ahead. These are the guys who imagine that if they can slip past the gate they can beat the speeding train.

See how happy they are in January 2013. Marine 1 lifts off and zer0 fades into the history as a failed pResident of the White House.

Liberals rejoice at the news that Hurricane Isaac could hit Tampa
Can't wait to see the scumbag protesters and anarchists out in the street getting a power wash thanks to Mother Nature.
Isaac should also be pretty successful putting a damper on the Molotov cocktail crowd too.
And how about Isaac blowing the fools off the rooftops while they're looking for their (now confiscated) bricks and pipes.

Bring it on duuuuuudes.

Hurricane remnants have been known to bring flooding to the Carolina Piedmont.

Paybacks can be a be-yotch.

Just sayin’.

From James, Chapter 3:

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. 14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. 15 Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

This article, its premise, and the never-ending yammering of liberals and their attitudes made me think of this passage. Every time I begin to think that liberals cannot disgust me any more thoroughly, they find a way to prove me wrong. We Christians need to do a much better job of highlighting the differences in "light" and "darkness" for non-believers. There really is a stark contrast between good and evil. I pray that we as a nation return to choosing good.

This currently looks like it will be a minor hurricane, which would not affect people inside the convention building, but will make it impossible for the Occupy crowd to be on the streets demonstrating against anything (and will blow away any tent compounds they may try to erect).

They shouldn’t rejoice too much. If the convention has to be postponed until after theirs, they are in a disadventageos situation.

This is going to sound odd, but I am actually glad too. With Biden being in Tampa on Monday, it isn’t hard to draw a line that the Dems will be up to no good, so this hurricane will mess that up. Our base is already on a high and doesn’t need a convention to energize us.

Whatever the Dems are up to would draw attention away from anything positive that could happen at the convention anyway...

I was in Florida in 2004 for 3 of the 4 that hit that year, and, not coincidentally in NOLA the day before Katrina hit. Go figure. Anyway, I’ve looked at many hurricane tracks and watched them intently since then, and especially because we own property south of Tampa in Longboat Key. In my view, the risk for Tampa with this one is nil. It will do one of two things - continue west across the Yucatan, or turn north before it comes to Florida, perhaps strafing the east around Jacksonville and south Georgia with its northwest quadrant. Far better that than the northeast quadrant, which is what did in Biloxi and the small towns on the Mississippi coast with Katrina. In fact, the only thing that saved NOLA from total destruction was that last minute right turn - had she passed west, and the northeast quadrant passed over the city, she would have been gone.
