[Dem] Rep. Gauthier, 56, claims rest-stop oral sex with Craigslist boy, 17, was consensual

Rep. Kerry Gauthier, D-Duluth, won't face charges for having oral sex with a minor at the Thompson Hill rest stop near Duluth, but at the least he's revealed himself to be a dishonest person, lying to the 17-year-old about his age and to police about what exactly happened in the woods that night.
.
.
Gauthier, 56, was then a bit more forthcoming, telling the officer that he met the boy through an ad he posted on Craigslist. In the ad, Gauthier characterized himself as a 43-year-old looking for man-on-man sex with "no strings attached." His ad received a receptive reply from the unnamed 17-year-old, who allegedly told Gauthier he is 18. The dynamic duo agreed to meet at the Thompson Hill rest stop for sexual relations.

They met on July 22 and headed for the woods for fondling and a five-minute oral sex session. Spooked about the possibility of being busted, Gauthier and his boy tryst decided to end it there, and the whole incident might never have been publicized had it not been for the boy's decision to take a leak right next a couple eating dinner in a car. The couple called police to report "suspicious activity," and when authorities arrived Gauthier was still there.

The responding officer, in a police report, writes that he drew his gun on Gauthier, who approached him with his hand in his pocket. "I told him he shouldn't walk up to us with his hand in his pockets," the officer writes.

"It was at that time I noted his zipper was open and part of his shirt was hanging out," the officer continues. "I asked him why his zipper was down and he said he didn't know.

I’m seeing a major sea change in reportage. Usually if the perp is a democrat the party affiliation is buried deep in the story, if it is mentioned at all.

Here it’s in the first sentence.

What’s up with that?

Queerdom is going to be part of the democrats reelection platform this year. They're going pro-anal.
Sex with young boys is all they can offer in exchange for a vote this time. There isn't any money left for monetary freebies.
Confused young boys are plentiful. The government schools are cranking out indoctrinated boys by the thousands every year.

(Mark my words. Cannibalism of these young boys will be next. The homos are unsatisfiable. They always need a bigger rush than the last to get off. Sex with these boys, because it's become so easy, will start to bore them.)

If this sicko wasn’t “out” before, I would think the sheer sordidness of this incident would disturb enough of his constituents that they might not vote for him. Of course I was sure Bill Clinton was through once the DNA surfaced on Monica’s pretty blue dress. I realized when the democrats didn’t kick him out of office that this country had changed for the worse.

I have been told for years now homosexuals are normal. So I tried to act normal and advertised on craigslist for anonymous unprotected sex with 17 year old girls and no one answered. I even offered to meet them in a romantic bathroom stall. Still no answer. I am so confused.

He just admitted to statutory rape and he won't be charged?

Uh... You might want to check that outrage because it's not even "statutory rape" in your state of Missouri since the "boy" was 17 which legal age in MO has been since at least 1995. (566.034)

Age of consent is 16 in Minnesota where this incident took place. The only "crime" here is the public nature of the act which could've amounted to misdemeanor indecent conduct. Considering the very public nature of "exposure" thanks to the lawmaker's job, where's the upside to expending resources to prosecute when you likely wouldn't usually and Gauthier is now subject to permanent, national shame?

The true iron rangers won’t take kindly to this kind of thing. The metro tree-huggers that have infested the north shore since the 1970’s will donate even more tourist dollar cash from their tea shops, bead and trinket sales to this pedophile maggot.

To bad this freak isn’t running against Chip Cravaak.

“most people in northern minn are soc libs and fiscal con”

I think you inverted the adjectives. The stereotypical voter in northern MN is socially conservative (pro-life, pro-gun) but economically liberal (populist, protectionist, all for federal subsidies), à la longtime Duluth Congressman Jim Oberstar (defeated by Chip Cravaack in 2010) and longtime Otter Tail Congressman Collin Peterson (who is still in Congress).
