AWESOME! Let the leftist meltdown begin. And let the TEA party begin!
Great pick.
Romney loses and then Ryan runs in 2016.
I think we can all finally be happy. :)

Paul Ryan impressed me during the healthcare debate. After listening to member after member ramble on about what the bill was and wasn’t, I got a serious case of tired head. But Paul Ryan spoke about specifics in the bill and I knew that he had actually read the darn thing. I am a senior who is not afraid of a medicare overhaul, as it sucks. Not all seniors are morons, most are willing to give back if it helps the country. I don’t think Ryan does anything but add clarity to a race that mitt cannot begin to explain, thus his lagging in the polls. Rubio would have also been a good pick but all the others mentioned added nothing to a bland ticket. Frankly I am suprised, as I expected Mitt to pick Portman who would have put the rest of the Country asleep.
Ryan could have done some good right where he is. As VP he will do only what Romney wants him to do and that Fabian socialist Romney wants the exact same end as the Marxist currently in the white house. There has been a lot of spew about not making the same mistake when picking a VP and picking someone with executive experience that can step into the presidents office if necessary and do the job. Palin is still more qualified than all of this cycles and last cycles candidates put together. So what does the RNC and Romney do they pick some one only marginally more qualified than Obama. Fey on the GOP, when they get their heads out of the communist backside I might start voting for them again.
If this is true, then it’s an excellent choice.
I’m not an enthusiastic Romney supporter; but with Ryan on the ticket, I won’t be sitting it out on 11/4. Ryan will have my vote, and Romney along with him.
An excellent decision.
Awesome choice!

They all should have never shown to begin with.

“Why we can forget Paul Ryan for VP”
The Guardian - 5 minutes ago
“The biggest reason to select Paul Ryan is that he’s adored by the Republican base. That was one of the big arguments for selecting Sarah Palin, and it made ...”
Now every member of the media is researching to find any dirt, any lie , anything that will smear and destroy Ryan as the media did to Palin. All one million of these media maggots will do this.
Well, now I can vote for Ryan, just like I voted for Palin last time!
If Mittens had picked Portman or Pawlenty I would have drank poison.
And if it was Rubio, I would have shredded my pocket Constitution.(1)
(1) sorry 'Alice', he's not eligible. Parents were not citizens when he was born.
Yes!
I like this pick. Just wish Paul Ryan was on the top of the ticket. Why didn’t he run for the GOP nomination instead of Romney?
I think this is a great team in many, many ways.
Romney has actually created businesses and jobs, and yes, he has fired people. (Note to bleeding-heart libs: Firing someone isn’t the definition of evil. No one should be entitled to a job for life. Firing someone doesn’t mean they will never work again. Firing can put someone on notice that they are lazy and need to get busy. It can remove someone from a job they are unhappy with and not good at and give them an opportunity to find something better. It can spur someone to go back to school and polish their skills.)
Ryan understands “fiscal responsibility” in great detail. His knowledge of 0bamaTax and his performance in debating it was masterful.
Romney has created an interesting meme for the remainder of his campaign. We all now he is a Northeastern conservative which makes him slightly less liberal than Obama. By taking on a VP choice that is the poster boy for fiscal conservatism he positions himself as the liberal who can actually reach across the aisle and work with the conservatives and still have a proven liberal track record.
It is a perfect story for the Obama voters who are on the fence.
We blew it.
Happy dance. Good choice, Mr. Romney.
