Earlier this week, Harry Reid revealed why Mitt Romney is refusing to release more tax returns: He didn't pay taxes for an entire decade! It almost sounds too crazy to be true, and in fact, Reid is "not certain" that it isn't a total lie. However, he is sure of one thing: "I am not basing this on some figment of my imagination," Reid told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. "I have had a number of people tell me that." So we aren't talking about just one anonymous Bain investor, but several people who have seemingly only shared this story with Reid.
In an interview with Nevada reporters on Wednesday, Reid refused to name his sources or back down on his accusation. "I don't think the burden should be on me," he said. "The burden should be on him. He's the one I've alleged has not paid any taxes. Why didn't he release his tax returns?"
A Romney spokesman said Reid's accusation is proof that the Obama campaign will do anything to distract from his economic record, "no matter how baseless, unfounded or demonstrably false their attacks are." Of course, the Romney campaign didn't actually offer new evidence to demonstrate that the claim is untrue.
According to Reid, it's the media's job to get to the bottom of this. "What if he has paid no taxes, like I am saying he hasn't," Reid said. "What if he has all these moneys as we already know ... in the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Swiss banks. I mean, gee whiz, rather than ask me why I should do this, that is a story you should be writing." Looking into Romney's finances? Reporters must be kicking themselves for not thinking of that sooner.
And neither is his 6 foot friend named Harvey.
The Democrats really do want to self immolate, don't they? Because of his wealth and investments, Mitt's tax returns will be as thick as bibles. But nothing fundamentally shocking or surprising ought to be there. Mitt certainly chips in 10% and maybe more to the LDS, that's his religion. Which may also be why the LDS isn't giving him a lot of grief for his less-than-clean-living mores.

The little creep, Stinky Harry, seems to have that old, guilty until proven innocent mindset that the communists and Nazis were so famous for. Romney needs to stand his ground and tell Stinky Harry to kiss is @$$. That’s what the Kenyan would do and it always works for him.
If Romney did carry back losses he could have gotten a HUGE tax refund for 2004, 2005 and 2006.
Now none of this is unlawful, but remember the reaction when folks discovered the corrupt multi-billion dollar General Electric Corporation paid no taxe?
Romney knows to a degree he's able to feel any emotion that if he reveals these things he will lose.
Frankly, I think the guy's going to lose anyway ~ so why does he want to keep pretending.

Its out there, all over the place. It must be true ... its even on the internet. Harry Reid has been accused of pedophilia on the internet and has failed to prove it isn't true.
According to me, it's up to the press to find out if Harry Reid is a pedophile like thousands of people are saying on the Internet. Is he a boy rapist? I'd really like to know, and if so, how many little boys has he raped? I'd also like to know what's going to be done stop him if the private sources are correct.

Mitt Romney donated all of his fathers inheritance to chairity, ran the Olympics without pay for 3 years, has kept all his assets in a blind trust since 1999, served as Massachusetts governor for 8 years without pay, and has released 2 years of tax records showing he donated more to chairity ($7 million) than he paid in taxes ($6.2 million).
It seems unlikely someone with this record of public service would “not pay taxes for 10 years” and far more likely that Dingy Harry is a miserable POS lying hack. Romney needs to tell Reid to go to he!!.

Well we know he didn’t carry them forward in 2010, so Reid is wrong even in that unlikely scenario.

I’m wondering if Reid’s accusations cross the threshold of slander.
I doubt there is anyone, Romney supporter or opponent, who really believes a release of 10, or for that matter, 50 years of tax returns would satisfy Harry Reid or any of the anti Romney machine. When you deal with sleaze merchants, you don’t try to pacify them anymore than you do hostage takers or terrorist. They don’t want answers, they want an issue.

Maybe he ran out of losses to carry forward, or he just didn’t carry them forward for 2010 ~ to trick you!

Reid may have a legitimate excuse for hearing voices in his head and having imaginary friends. In his younger boxing days, he must have taken one too many shots to the noggin.
Someone said Reid is a pedophile and everyone knows that he has Las Vegas mob ties.
The whole purpose of the allegation is to provide the left and the media with a feeding frenzy year by year, return by return, page by page, line by line etc. Mitt can afford the best tax advisors and Mitt may not have paid any income taxes at all as Reid alleges. Good for him. The Kennedys went for decades with essentially muni-bond interest in the millions as sole sources of income. Not even required to be reported on one's 1040 until rather recently.
Then he announced he could fly and jumped out his senate office window...

We can speculate all day about this, but Harry and his cronies know something, and Romney's resistance rather demonstrates they know something.
You know, even if that parable about the "eye of a needle" was a play on words about a guy on a camel going through a Jerusalem gate known as the "needle", the camel Romney is on is still working on the first hump and there are three more of them to go ~ he's never going to make it.

Wasn’t 2 full years, but one year, and then a partial or preliminary on another. I have no doubt it’s difficult to figure out his taxes and then present them in a concise form.
Of course Harry knows who it was. It was the guy that Harry sees every morning reflected in his mirror as Harry shaves. It was that guy in Harry’s shaving mirror who told him.

As long as Romney FILED his returns, it’s the problem of the IRS if any taxes weren’t paid that should have been.
