I have to laugh when I read that a group excludes others because it is inclusive. And then I think, are you even listening to yourself? As Inigo Montoya says, You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Such illogic, Im tolerant and inclusive, so Im excluding you is on display again. This time its from The Jim Henson Company, which describes itself as an established leader in family entertainment for over 50 years. This announcement is on its Facebook page:
The Jim Henson Company has celebrated and embraced diversity and inclusiveness for over fifty years and we have notified Chick-Fil-A that we do not wish to partner with them on any future endeavors. Lisa Henson, our CEO is personally a strong supporter of gay marriage and has directed us to donate the payment we received from Chick-Fil-A to GLAAD [Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation].
The fracas started when Dan Cathy, the President and Chief Operating Officer of Chick-fil-A, gave an interview with the Biblical Recorder that was later picked up by Baptist Press. From the way its been reported, you would think that Cathy spent the entire interview denigrating gay-identified men and women. Instead, he talked about his work and faith, about the two bowl games Chick-fil-A sponsors, and about the WinShape Foundation:
It began as a college scholarship and expanded to a foster care program, an international ministry, and a conference and retreat center modeled after the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove.
That morphed into a marriage program in conjunction with national marriage ministries, Cathy added.
Some have opposed the companys support of the traditional family. Well, guilty as charged, said Cathy when asked about this opposition.
We are very much supportive of the family the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.
So the WinShape Foundation runs camps, helps kids in foster care, strengthens marriages, gives scholarships, and supports groups like Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Gay activists and their allies spin the story as if every dime is spent opposing marriage redefinition. Hardly.
More and more, inclusivity, tolerance and diversity means excluding people of faith who believe that God designed marriage for the union of a husband and wife. Among those who hold this definition is Jesus, who said,
Havent you read that at the beginning the Creator made them male and female, and said, For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.
Excluding Him is no laughing matter.
And MLK dreamed of the day when people were judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin, but 0bama starts a new education program based on the color of their skin.
Nothing surprises me anymore.
And “bipartisan conpromise” means that conservatives cave to liberals. Then everything is hunky-dory.
And that’s why an increasing number of voters are sick of both parties.
"The difference between them and us is that we're uniters and they're dividers."
Hokay . . . .
Liberals say they do not want to take away your firearms......except semi-automatics, anything with a detachable magazine, including pistols.
Liberals say they support free speech......except Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin and Andrew Wilkow....that is hate speech.
Liberals say they support inclusiveness.....except if you oppose their worldview.
Folks, this is just a sampling of what life would be like under total liberalism.
Or what it's like to be in hell.
Unless I disagree with you.
You gay & leftwing activists sure do look good in brown shirts.
