Harriet Miers is reading your post and wondering “who the heck is this Janet Myers?”

“This dope is still politically toxic nearly four YEARS after he left office and for good reason.”

Yes, he made mistakes. However, I would vote for him again if he could run...without any hesistation. However, I will NEVER vote for Romney, even to defeat Obama.

It is really time to stop bad mouthing President George W. Bush.

I disagree. He didn’t want to do anything that would detract from Romney.

Vote Romney in as the FIRST STEP to the eventual election of a Conservative in the 2016 elections. This is but the FIRST STEP to achieve that goal. If oboma wins in November, we will have lost the right to cast another vote...oboma will see to it as the socialist/communist/marxist/revolutionary/sharia law loving thug/dictator that he is.

I am not thrilled with Romney, BUT he must be elected if we are to save this country, and work toward selecting a Conservative candidate, and electing this candidate in the 2016 elections.

The time to strike is now. See you at the polls and pass it on.

Not all of Reagan’s supreme court appointments are stellar. Guess that means he was a dope according to some of the liberal standards being imposed in this thread.

I knew Romney would embolden the “moderates” and their arrogance will (Already has) cost them the election.

For any moderate lurkers. The GOP doesn’t need you. You’re nothing but manipulative, lying, scum who lack the courage to moderate that party that actually needs you. Politicians are afraid to tell you the truth but I’m not. Moderates should be voting democrat where there heart really belongs. The GOP has already lost by manipulating the arrogant moron Romney into the position he’s in now.

“It is really time to stop bad mouthing President George W. Bush.”

Oh you mean whitewash history and forget about why RINO’s are bad news for conservatism and the country? No thanks. Bush was a terrible President and a foe of small government. His legacy cannot be forgotten else it will be repeated.

When it comes to Supreme Court nominations, probably every Republican president in my lifetime - 62 years - belongs in the Hall of Shame.

The problem is always the same.

They nominate at least one person - Reagan nominated three, O’Connor, Ginsburg, and Kennedy - who does not have a clear Conservative record.

And the result is always the same.

Once on the Court, these “centrist” nominees ALWAYS drift to the Left, and sometimes Hard Left.

Contrast that with Democrat nominees.

They rarely drift Right, and most of them NEVER drift to the Right.

“Reagan nominated three, O’Connor, Ginsburg, and Kennedy - who does not have a clear Conservative record”

Time for some fact checking...

Reagan nominated Sandra Day O’Conner and she was affirmed.
Reagan elevated William Rehnquist to Chief Justice to replace Warren Burger. Affirmed.
Reagan nominated Antonin Scalia. Affirmed.
Reagan nominated Robert Bork. Not Affirmed.
Reagan was considering Douglas Ginsburg for nomination. He Withdrew his same from that consideration. (marijuana use).
Reagan nominated Anthony Kennedy. Affirmed.

Re: “Fact Check”

Poor wording on my part.

My point was that each GOP president since Ike has nominated at least one “centrist.”

I listed the three “centrists” that Reagan nominated - confirmed or not.

My other point was that Democrats NEVER nominate “centrists.”

Your unmitigated hate for the man would be funny, if it weren't so, so sad.

See to it.

"You don’t think Dubya’s systemic failure as President isn’t precisely WHY Obama is in office??"

I do, Obama is the real Bush legacy.
