Taxes are good for the soul!

Obama will launch a massive campaign of singing actresses touting the benefits of a perfect utopian society that will give you perfect teeth, you will never get fat, your children will never be autistic and all your food will be paid by food stamps or EBT.

Personally, I can’t wait to see how the real estate transaction surcharge bolsters the housing market.

The Surtax on investment income takes the top dividend tax rate to a little over 43%!

Who wants to have 43% of their dividend income taxed?

Anybody who is thinking about joint or other medical device implants should evaluate the timing of their procedure and the effect of the new tax on their costs.

Anybody who owns sizable quantities of high dividend paying income stocks should consider if they want to sell before the end of the year.

These taxes will have the usual "unintended" consequences.

As you can understand, there is a reason why the authors of ObamaCare wrote the law in such a way that the most brutal tax increases take effect conveniently after the 2012 election. It’s the same reason President Obama, congressional Democrats, and the mainstream media conveniently neglect to mention these taxes and prefer that you simply “move on” after the Supreme Court ruling.
The main problem wasn't even mentioned.

I don't see the GOP front and center fighting this.

There should be bills generating right at this moment in the house to stop all of these tax increases.

Otherwise it is just like them doing the same as the dems, msm and Obama.

Tax those that work in order to support those who don’t work or don’t work very hard. Including non-citizens!
All for the purposes of getting votes so you can stay in power and live like a King.
Go on vacations and play Golf.
They are everything nasty thing they accuse everyone else of being. Including a bunch of money loving phonies!
I don’t see any of them living in self imposed poverty.
Quite the opposite..they are living very well.
All we can do is HOPE we can vote them out of office???
Even then they will NEVER go away!

Just venting..thanx

It's okay: according to liberals and "moderates" I talk too Americans LOVE paying high taxes.

Only racist, homophobic bigots don't like taxes.

Obamacare now invalid because tax bills must originate in House

Kevin Kervick
Manchester Independent Examiner

“The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) may now be invalid because the Supreme Court ruled that it relies on a tax for implementation.

According to the United States Constitution, all tax bills must originate in the House of Representatives. This law originated in the Senate, because at the time the Democrats were selling it as a purchase - not a tax. Since the Supreme Court has ruled that the law is indeed based on a tax increase, it would have had to be initiated as a bill in the House of Representatives.

Consequently, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Law is unconstitutional on a different criteria than the ones considered by the Supreme Court in this latest landmark decision. By calling the individual mandate unconstitutional but allowing the law as a federal program to be funded by new taxes, Justice Roberts essentially nullified the law.”

Are there any numbers on how the Medicare tax will increase? I had read somewhere that in 2013 it would be $113 per person per month. In 2014 the number was $247 per person per month.
I would like to verify these numbers.

I caught just a snippet of a der Fuehrer speech about who benefits from obamacare and paraphrasing it, something along the line of “...for families who have done the right thing” and it struck me that he was saying that if you all do what we say, eat what we say, exercise to our expectations, you will be taken care of...if you don’t, you’re going to die because you disobeyed us. Am I the only one who heard it that way?
