Cat's Out of The Bag [Another amusing email from The Won]
email | June 25, 2012 | Toby Fallsgraff

Friend --

I'm going to let you in on a secret:

Your chances of winning Dinner with Barack (and Michelle) are MUCH better than you might think.

I know, because my name was randomly selected. That's because I donate at least once every time we do these contests just to check that the website is working properly for you and everyone else.

Sadly for me and good for you, staff members aren't eligible to win.

But if you were thinking you're never going to get picked, take it from me and think again.

Then, donate to be automatically entered today.

The flight's free. We put you and a guest up in a hotel. The President has even been known to write a thank-you note for your babysitter.

This is the definition of nothing to lose. And, if you want to bring me as your guest, I'm game.

The contest ends on Tuesday, so enter for the chance to have dinner with the Obamas:

https://donate.barackobama.com/Dinner-with-the-Obamas

Cat's out of the bag,

Toby

Toby Fallsgraff Obama for America

No purchase, payment, or contribution necessary to enter or win. Contributing will not improve chances of winning. Void where prohibited. Entries must be received by June 26, 2012. You may enter by contributing to Obama Victory Fund 2012 here or click here to enter without contributing. Three winners will each receive the following prize package: round-trip tickets for winner and a guest from within the fifty U.S. States, DC, or Puerto Rico to a destination to be determined by the Sponsor; hotel accommodations; and dinner with President Obama on a date to be determined by the Sponsor (approximate retail value of all prizes $4,800). Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. Promotion open only to U.S. citizens, or lawful permanent U.S. residents who are legal residents of 50 United States, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico and 18 or older (or age of majority under applicable law). Promotion subject to Official Rules and additional restrictions on eligibility. Sponsor: Obama for America, 130 E. Randolph St., Chicago, IL 60601. PAID FOR BY OBAMA VICTORY FUND 2012, A JOINT FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE AUTHORIZED BY OBAMA FOR AMERICA, THE DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL COMMITTEE, AND THE STATE DEMOCRATIC PARTIES IN THE FOLLOWING STATES: CO, FL, IA, NV, NH, NC, OH, PA, VA, AND WI.

Contributions or gifts to Obama Victory Fund 2012 are not tax deductible.

The first $5,000 of a contribution to OVF 2012 will be allocated to Obama for America (with the first $2,500 designated for the primary election, and the next $2,500 for the general election). The next $30,800 of a contribution will be allocated to the Democratic National Committee. Any additional amounts from a contributor will be divided among the State Democratic Party Committees as follows, up to $10,000 per committee and subject to the biennial aggregate limits: FL (17%); OH (16%); PA (13%); CO (11%); NC (11%); VA (11%); NV (6%); WI (6%); IA (5%); and NH (4%). A contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant. The allocation formula above may change if following it would result in an excessive contribution. Contributions will be used in connection with a Federal election.

Betcha Toby is fibbing, at least a little :)

I found all the legalese interesting. Sort of like a Microsoft ULA.

Check this:

See, that's racist right there because it excludes the 800,000 ILLEGAL ALIENS nobama pardoned last week.

So, how does Toby reconcile these two statements?

1. Then, donate to be automatically entered today.

2. No purchase, payment, or contribution necessary to enter or win.

Hmmm?

There is no freaking way I am going to put myself on Obama’s holiday list. They will hound you until you are so fed up, you eat a box of bath salts and go running naked down the intercoastal looking for human flesh.

Obama is the leader of the zombie apocalypse.

Cat's out of the bag,

Can I get a doggie bag?

P.S. Second prize is two dinners.

....and if you are getting married or having a birthday, but sure to ask your friends to send in a donation instead of giving you that unneeded gift.

Obama is the leader of the zombie apocalypse.

The bad news: they won't be satisfied until they find brains.

The good news: they've spent months poring over Joe Biden.

If you win, it is taxable. Love it, donate $3 and then pay 500 in taxes...only a democrat could think of this.

I’d rather chew a jumbo roll of aluminum foil than break bread in the presence of Obama.

What's the matter, don't you love our country enough to pay a measly $500 after receiving the unimaginable privilege of being allowed to sup with

*swoon*

Desperate for even a glimpse of our dear leaders, my stuffed animals and I are reduced to welcoming life-sized cardboard cutouts of the Obamas to our humble home, and you DARE to entertain such ignoble thoughts?!?!?

To show your deep sorrow for having committing such an outage, donate that $3 right now!!! Republicans are rich and bad, and the private sector is doing a bit TOO fine, if you ask me!!!!! Forward!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So if you donate as a wedding gift, who gets the dinner? You or the happy couple?

So, can we pay for all this with a food-stamp card?
