Documents obtained by CBS News show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discussed using their covert operation "Fast and Furious" to argue for controversial new rules about gun sales.

PICTURES: ATF "Gunwalking" scandal timeline

In Fast and Furious, ATF secretly encouraged gun dealers to sell to suspected traffickers for Mexican drug cartels to go after the "big fish." But ATF whistleblowers told CBS News and Congress it was a dangerous practice called "gunwalking," and it put thousands of weapons on the street. Many were used in violent crimes in Mexico. Two were found at the murder scene of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.

“Fast and Furious” also describes the Obamunist mission to destroy (”fundamentally transform”) America from within.

Yep. We knew this. It was easy to figure out. It's the lefts MO.

In order for the democrats to do anything, they have to create a crises (oboma weapons killing people in great numbers).
They wait for people to cry out for relief (we need stronger gun laws!).
They blame their opponents (the Republicans and NRA for the killings).
They come in with a "new way" (more government regulations and institutions), because the "old way" (liberty) didn't work!

Everything works just fine until the "progressives" decide to break it. Health care was fine until the "progressives" decided they wanted the premium money for themselves. They sent out the trial lawyers to drive up the costs so high, people would cry out for relief. They then blamed their opponents, and passed a massive, anti-liberty Obomacare bill. Presto! All that insurance money is now theirs.

"Never waste a good crises"(even if you have to create the crises yourself).

Actually it is a GOOD thing that it’s still in the “Popular Now” list. People will still see it and at least CBS hasn’t stifled it.

Noted. I did not specifically request this, but included Admin Moderator in a previous post saying this is old news.

Moderator, please add date in brackets to headline.

Good that its still getting some attention in the "popular now" list at cbsnews.com

And the sabotage of the BP oil rig made the case for Obama’s domestic oil drilling moratoriums.

Other resignations need to be demanded besides Holder's. Hillary Clinton and Janet Napolitano are in this up to their eyebrows.

and not one article that mentioned Hillary Clinton.

You should look closer - there are 24 mentions of Hillary just on that page. Each of them is about her role in supporting foreign intervention in the Second Amendment.

Your contention was that Atkisson did original reporting on F&F, I just thought you might have an example of that in the front of mind. Apparently not.

I want her and everyone who did good work on this to keep doing it. As Reagan said, a lot gets done when you don't worry about who gets credit.

I was Holder prosecuted. I want this "long national nightmare" over.

Dipstick...

Idiot! I gave you a link to a list of all of her articles. Examples don’t get more direct than that.

Our own government formulating falsehoods in an effort to clamp down on our rights....blows me away.

Who's the enemy here? The citizens?

This government favoring foreign interests in seemingly all avenues over it's own people.

Oh man!!! Corrupt corrupt corrupt

Wow. You’ve called me “dipstick” and now “idiot”. Ad hominum attacks are usually the refuge for folks who have no other facts or logic at their disposal. I can only infer that you’re out of ideas on this ridiculously minor issue.

I said I didn’t have the time to wade through everything she’s written to do the comparison I thought you’d be able to supply. You evidently can’t provide a specific example for your assertion that Atkisson supplied original reporting on F&F and that’s fine - no big deal. I also don’t have further time to help you provide relevance to your unsubstianted assertions.

Enjoy your Pulitzer, Sheryl!

I gave you dozens of specific examples not just one.

I guess an ad-hominem in your case is superfluous. You make it clear enough with your own posts.
