Montana remains in the Romney column again this month.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in the state finds likely Republican nominee Mitt Romney with 51% support to President Obamas 42%. Five percent (5%) like another candidate in the race, and two percent (2%) are undecided.

It’s intersting that Romney is running more stronly than Denny Rehberg, who’s running for the U.S. Senate.
Obama 42%? How is this possible? Are 42% of the population brain dead? Are they insane? Are they enemy agents? Are they parasites?
Romney is running 2% stronger than Rehberg, the real difference is that Tester is running 5% stronger than Obama.

Wondering that too. I don’t think Montana has a lot of big cities, minorities, union members, senior citizens, rabid feminists, anti-business proponents or other voting blocks that tend to always support Democrats. What gives?
Minorities
Dead people
Illegals
99ers
EBTers
Occupiers
Idiot libs
after a while, it adds up
I actually think that on election day this one (Montana) will end up more like 65-35. Obama is falling quickly to (low) levels of support reminiscent of McGovern in ‘72.
Polled people at the Occupy Camp in Yellowstone Park? :)
If Rehberg were running against an Illinois Marxist instead of against a crew-cut wearing “conservative” Democrat from MT he’d be doing at least as well as Romney.
Man, this reminds me I gotta see Montana again. Hunted there in the 70’s around Clancy and also Judith Gap. They don’t call it Big Sky for nuthin’.

A lot of people from California have moved to Montana. I don’t know the exact numbers. Montana is a beautiful state and it attracts outsiders.
Let’s not forget that Montana has a history of radical and violent trade union activity, mostly in the mining industry. Some of those old-time radicals — or at least their “red diaper babies” — are probably still in the state.
Was not aware of that.
My aunt and uncle lived in Billings for many years. He was a physician in the Navy and settled there after WW2.
But I’m not knowledgeable about the state at all.
Yes, yes, yes and yes.
It’s the Missoula-Kalispell-Columbia Falls-Whitefish corridor. Including the student body at Missoula plus the rest are mainly immigrants from Kalifornia.

It will not be an election like 1972 or 1984. We have an idiot running as a supposed Republican. It is going to be hard enough just barely beating Obama because the GOPe won and gave us a TERRIBLE candidate. And if Romney does win, who wins???? Nobody!!!!
Exactly.
Unless Obama was popular and headed for another landslide, Montana was never gonna be close this time in the POTUS vote.
I’ve heard some say that Obama might end up being creamed there.
