You didn't seriously buy into all this horse hockey about the Daily Caller's Neil Munro having violated some sacred rule about interrupting or, as the press would call it, "heckling" the President? Of course you didn't. But what may come as news to some is that for the White House press corps, interrupting and heckling the President is A-OK provided, of course, it's not President Obama.
Here's three videos that offer perspective on how the Reagan-Obama double-standard works.
The first is the now oh-so horrifying Obama/Munro episode, seen here. The second ...with Diane Sawyer showing the same clip but something more Obama, done speaking, walks away, with the lonely voice of (presumably) Mr. Munro asking another question, which Obama ignores.
...
Video three?
That would be President Ronald Reagan making remarks in the White House press room, found here.

It is never okay to heckle the president. I do not care who the president is. Reagan or Obama...or George H. W. Bush by the chicken. Though he said he did develop an affection for that chicken as time passed.
Sam Donaldson made his name shouting questions at Reagan every chance he got any and everytime Reagan stepped before the press.
If I recall, Helen Thomas made some rude remarks at times to President Bush in the press room.
The Left has no tolerance.
This PRESIDENT has no tolerance or decorum. He called patriotic men, women, and children “tea baggers” and hired the guy behind the Bushitler stickers and wheatposters to make his HOPE-CHANGE posters.
Oh, I see someone has fallen for that "heckling" trap and talking points advanced by the corrupt, biased, Lame Stream Media.
Asking our Fascist, Neo-Commie a question is NOT "heckling" and regardless of how you or anyone wants to advance the narative.
We have a Constitutional Republic, NOT a "Monarchy" and we have a "PRESIDENT" (who I might remind all, is elected by "we the people" thus he is OBLIGATED to answer to us ALL as well the fact as he "works for us," not the other way around) and NOT a "King," "Potentate" or "Emperor."
Yes, the "Office" deserves our "respect," but ONLY to the extent that the "Occupyer" aslo respect the Office as well as we his Constituents....who are NOT his "Subjects."
Anyone who abuses his power (such as Dear Leader has since day one; continuosly usurps powers not granted; igores the Constitution; rules by fiat, etc.) does NOT deserve our respect and if he doesn't like it, he can go and do an unatural act to himself.

You dont see anything. It is bad manners. I do not care if it is Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush or Obama. It is bad manners. Maybe we were raised differently.
Sure it’s rude but if they can’t stand the heat they should not be in the kitchen. Freedom means nothing unless you are free to do some things that offend some people.
What this video shows is the idea that respect for the office requires reporters to maintained a hushed silence in His Pretense is a tradition begun about 3 years ago.
Does anyone remember the interview that Dan Rather did with Bush 41? Brutal.
Yes and when folks began to realize what was out there and available along those lines, the story began to disappear.
I'd say what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. The Left in this country cut it's eye teeth doing ‘guerrilla theater’ in the ‘60’s and ‘gotcha’ journalism was born. They have used it effectively for nearly 50 years against America and it's time they realized respect is a two-way street.
I understand what you are saying. What we need is to get back to honest investigative journalism. It has simply disappeared off the face of the earth. No reason to be rude. Just be honest and inquisitive and make them answer the hard questions. Do not let them weasel out of it.
