It didnt take long for Mitt Romney to hit the hanging curve Barack Obama threw earlier today in his press conference. Speaking in Iowa, a key swing state in the election, Romney asked whether any American President has been more out of touch with economic reality

If I was running for President right now, especially against Obama, I would want to win as much or more than Mitt does.
Wouldn't you?
I’m impressed with the speed of the Romney and GOP teams getting a coordinated message and even ads out. They are completely on top of every stupid thing Obama says.
Hey ... isn't that every Man's dream ?
/sarcasm-off
The Sharia replacing our Constitution....and when we visit the Kaba as part of our pilgrimage to Mecca and bow down and worship the PAGAN Black Rock...pay Jizzya and live like Dhimmis?
Hey....isn't that ever Infidel's dream?
NO SARCASM INTENDED....JUST REMINDING YOU/ALL WHAT WE COULD EXPERIENCE UNDER OUR ISLAMIC-JIHADIST/MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD-APPEASER/DEFENDER/SUPPORTING, DEAR LEADER!!!
Mitt may have moles (I hope he does) but today's action could not have been the work of a mole.
Obama was giving an unscripted answer to a question and stuck his foot in it.
Team Romney was watching the presser, saw what they had to work with, wrote up the response, and texted it to Romney to use the next time he opened his mouth publicly (which was right away). This puts Romney's response in the same story as Obama's gaffe.
This is just good, heads-up professional campaigning.
Thank goodness we have this kind of effort behind the GOP nominee.
We all know from experience what happens when we don't fight.
Romney: Is he really that out of touch?

Yes, Romney really is that out of touch...
“Im impressed with the speed of the Romney and GOP teams getting a coordinated message and even ads out. They are completely on top of every stupid thing Obama says.”
It’s almost like they know what 0bama is going to say even before 0bama does. Hmmmm.....
Romney is beating the ‘Rats at their own game and you’re complaining.
Who’s out of touch?
When you place the Obama campaign in proper context none of this is shocking at all. The guy has only once had to face a competitive campaign and he lost that. Even funnier to me is that for all the frustration I feel at the press for giving this guy a free pass, it may turn out that the press has done this guy a disservice. He truly believes that he can make any gaff and the press will be able to it covered it up. Thus, there is no discipline in his campaign and it does not appear that there is ever going to be any. In short, this could be a fun summer, a true summer of recovery where America recovers by kicking this guy to the curb.
That’s not sarcasm, it is stupidity, bigotry, obsession, and nihilistic pessimism.
You disgrace your “namesake” who, if he was here, would slap you right across your blubbing mouth.
Actually, I give Romney credit for taking the Gingrich plan. Answer everything immediately and just follow him around.
People wake up this guy is and always has been a turd and you guys are falling for him hook line and sinker....It is repulsive to see FREEPERS wanting him. Oh well you get what you wish for....Romney...lol.
BFL. If that’s not already an ebook (epub), I’ll see if I can’t create it.
I’m no Romney fan, having seen him grovel in MA, but I just heard the sound bite, and it’s great. Mittens’s ambition to be class president is greater than his cowardice in the face of a hostile media.
But I’ll take it, whatever his motivation.
Obama did *not* say this. It is a typo. What Obama said was:
"The private sector is dying fine."
There would be nothing worse (or better, depending on your viewpoint) for 0bama’s campaign than for them to think that their organization has been compromised. Imagine the paranoia, backstabbing and dysfunction it would cause.
(Insert sinister laugh here)
I said it first. John McCain was content to be NOMINATED for president.
Mitt Romney is determined to be ELECTED president.
With all his material advantages, Mitt Romney is not wasting 6 years of his life to roll over for Obama or anybody else.
Obama’s comment about the private sector is astonishing. The 2nd comment about beefing up State and local government, however, is truly terrifying, because it categorically demonstrates his belief that government can create wealth.
We have a big job ahead to educate people. This is truly dangerous.
