The triumph of Margaret Thatcher: why Europe’s love affair with the European project is ending
The Telegraph ^ | 6/1/12 | Nile Gardiner

Earlier this week the Pew Research Center’s Global Attitudes Project released a major report entitled ‘European Unity on the Rocks’. Its survey, involving more than 9,000 respondents across eight European Union nations as well as the United States, is the stuff of nightmares for EU officials desperately trying to keep the European project together against the backdrop of the biggest economic crisis in Europe since the 1930s.

In the words of the report’s authors the European project “is a major casualty of the ongoing sovereign debt crisis,” with deep-seated disillusionment with the European single currency and the broader process of European integration.

The bad news is Islamic immigration. The left is using them to prop themselves up. The socialists won in France because of 93% Moslem vote. Obama has already started a similar infection.

The people of Europe never wanted this so-called “European Project”—only the elites want it, who are fanatical in creating this abomination and regard Charlemagne as their forerunner.

I can’t quite grasp how Margaret Thatcher “triumphs” here.

There are some great You Tube videos about this.

In the 1970’s, the “eu” was sold as a benign trade pact (like NAFTA) but what the voters didn’t realize was that the eu was in reality a political pact. A pact with the ability to change local rule.

In nearly 40 years, the eu weaved it’s way into Europe by inserting its regulations into local laws, forming a clique highly-paid bureaucracies, manipulating banking laws and so on. The REAL goal of the eu is to become the “United States of Europe” by superseding local rule, bashing out local governance and becoming a socialist’s dreamland.

In the last few years, they have bullied countries who have rejected the Lisbon treaty (Ireland, France, Denmark) and rescinded election results in Italy and Greece. Greece is essentially a vassal state ruled by a three-man trifecture.

With local rule being stripped, economic enslavement, and established powers being overruled/outvoted by the poorer members, what will be left is severe nationalism and uprisings.

One more thing: If you search long enough, you will see the resistance by the eu, and its cronies, to allow it’s member states to vote on referendums to leave the eu.

England is having a nasty fight on this. The current English PM is stalling....attempting to run out the clock.
