“The vote was 246-168, short of the two-thirds majority needed under a fast-track procedure used by the House.”

Not as bad as you think.

“Since the bill wouldn’t have survived Obama’s veto it needs to be slow-rolled until 2013 when Obama is replaced by Romney who at least says he’s against abortion.”

Nobody should want this law passed; it is designed to stop the murder of female children rather than all children. It is a bad bill.

What in the name of hell is happening to our Republican-controlled U.S. House?

Republicans have a majority, but do not control 2/3rds of the House. Maybe, though, we can make a good push toward that number in November.

I think the GOP wanted to get those Democrat votes on the record to target them in the Fall.

Very good tactic.

Folks, the vote The vote was 246-168 in favor of the Bill. The GOP controlled House did its job. They won by a lot, even had some dems votre for it.

But because of the way it was introduced it required a 2/3rds majority to pass. That’s okay, here’s why.

The GOP wanted to get people on record. They knew even if they had gotten the vote in under normal tracking and won (which they would have) that it would not survive the Senate (which would never bring it up for a vote under Reid) or Obama’s veto in any case.

This way, they got the Nays on record for everyone to see and you can bet the GOP and PACs will use it in November in every race where anyone voting Nay on it is up for election.

A majority of the House voted for the ban, but not enough to override an Obama veto. We have to vote him out of the White House for this to pass, perhaps get a filibuster-proof majority in the U.S. Senate.

Salve

Ooooh ayayaya, time to fight friend, this is your house, time to fight.

I am praying, that is only thing I can do, but I will fight with you in being in truth with you.

Evil will not win; we already know this, why then allow lucifer to win over us? Tell me brothers and sisters in Our Lord Jesus Christ? Have he not suffered more than anybody of us? Is that how we treat our Lordr? Crucified Him AGAIN?

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaayaaaaayaaaaaaaaaaaa, what happen to you politicians? Do you really love being in Hell?

I am sad, this really hurts me and is deep in my heart.

Merci

"What in the name of hell is happening to our Republican-controlled U.S. House? This is exactly why we put the “R”s in charge and they are kicking us in the collective ass!!"

Our House Speaker... He's a cry baby... Pelosi has bigger balls. Our leader is a public crybaby... John Boehner. It's freakin' embarrassing.

Present-day support for abortion by feminists is itself an about face. Mary Wallestonecraft was vehemently against it, because she believed it would give men a license to be irresponsible with the women that they casually shag. So now it would be a full circle.

> It means “hi” in Italian.

Actually, it’s Romanian.

In Italian, we say, “Ciao”, (pronounced “chow”), which is used for “hi” and “bye”.

Italians answer the telephone thus: “Pronto!” or, “Allo, allo!”.

We have gotten to this point incrementally. We are only going to get back incrementally. Besides, once we establish that aborting a baby based on it's gender is called "sexism" that prompts many more questions. What is it called when we abort many more babies of one race than another race? Maybe "racism"? What is it called if we abort babies based on their potential health issues? Maybe "health discrimination"? What is it called when we abort babies based on their family's wealth? Maybe "class discrimination"? What is it called when we abort a baby based on who it's genetic father was?

This line of thinking takes the focus off of the the mother and her "rights" and balances them against the God given rights of the baby.

It’s actually a shrewd and smart move, IMHO, because the vote will come back to haunt the Dems badly.
