At 12:20 EST Rush applauds Willard's refusal to cave to MSM demands all day yesterday to throw Trump under the bus over Trumps "birther" statements, which Rush says McCain would have done.
Expect a Reichstag fire
in September or October.
McCain wanted to be the GOP nominee. Romney wants to be President.
Romney wants to win. That is more than McLame ever did.
BROKEN RECORD
McCain already had his government job as Senator. Romney does not. Had a scary thought this morn that McCain could become Sec. of Defense.
IT IS ABOUT A BAD RECORD - ROMNEY's RECORD.
1) ROMNEYCARE
2) ROMNEY JUDGES
3) ROMNEY LYING and DNC PANDERING
4) ROMNEY'S ATTACKS ON CONSERVATIVES
5) ROMNEY's WEAKNESS and PROTECTION of all things DNC.
Mitt Romney wins much coveted Jimmy Carter endorsement
Gore Praises Romney's 'Climate Protection Plan'
Carville(D):
"It's a feel-good story, this Romney thing.
Romney is an ascendant guy."
Sen. John Kerry (D) to Don Imus on RomneyCARE:
"I like this health care bill".
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D) on RomneyCARE:
"To come up with a bipartisan plan in this polarized environment is commendable."
Romney seems to be better on business than McCain.
McCain was wishy-washy when it came to business, tax policy.
And I don't see Romney doing quacked-out stuff like huddling with Feingold to do campaign finance.
Go vote for Obama - cheers.
McCain? Romney? Bozo the Clown?
I don’t care! I just want to see the look on Ed Schultz & Chrissy Matthews’ face when O’blamer is defeated in a landslide!
You are right, as well.
“Expect a Reichstag fire
in September or October.”
Yup, it’s coming. These bastards will not go away quietly.
Nah... broken record. Argumentative non-sense.
Romney campaigning at Solyndra today.....LOL
Sounds like the beginning of the "Ballad of Davy Crockett"
There is cause to worry about what the GOP establishment will do if he deviates too much from the script and refuses to take a dive.
We could have an actual election.
As with most other issues, Romney's record on this isue is...complex.
While Romney called for the repeal of McCain-Feingold in 2007, as Ramesh Ponnuru noted, his previous record has been very bad on this issue. Ponnuru even stated,
"Romney, it turns out, hassurprise, surprisebeen on both sides of campaign-finance reform. In his 1994 race, Romney came out for banning political action committees, limiting spending on federal races (something the Supreme Court has not allowed), and opposed allowing larger contributions. All told, those positions place him to the left of McCain-Feingold, which doubled the allowable size of individual donations to candidates. In his 2002 race, he took the position that campaign contributions should be taxed at a 10 percent race, with the proceeds going to public funding of all campaigns."
Once again, with CFR we see an issue where Romney started tacking to the right as just about the same time that he was gearing up to run for President in the GOP primaries. One wonders whether, if elected, this will be another area where the Etch-a-sketch will shaken once he's safely ensconced in office?
Better yet, vote for Virgil Goode, the non-Soros candidate!
No thank you. Obama has to go.
McCain was a total idiot as far as running a campaign and he surrounded himself with idiots including his idiot daughter. Of course, Obama is praising the loser McCain and wants his current opponent to run the same kind of campaign.
