The president, for all his cool, has a mean streakjust ask Hillary Clintonand this week he turned it on Mitt Romney, writes Lloyd Grove.
Never mind cow pie of distortionPresident Obamas earthy attack on Mitt Romney that dominated the headlines Thursday night from his barn-burner at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. Obama

The psychological heart of Obamas campaign speech was prairie fire of debt, the phrase that set up his scatological punch line.
I know Gov. Romney came to Des Moines last week, the shirt-sleeved, sweating Obama told a crowd of fervent supporters. Warned about a prairie fire of debt. Thats what he said. Prairie fire. But he left out some facts. You know, his speech was more like a cow pie of distortion.
Taken at face value, the president was simply quoting his Republican opponent to buttress his argument that Romneys economic proposals were nothing but a throwback to George W. Bushs disastrous policies that produced financial meltdown and a near-depression.
But there was something darker and sharper lurking just below the surface, in Obamas facial expressions, body language, and mocking tone of voice: Not to put too fine a point on it, but the president has a mean streak.

Is this mean streak, the same stripe(s) that run down the sides of the short yellow bus reserved for him?
He looks like he has entered the end stage of AIDS.
The only ‘cow pie’ I know about is the Obama Head cow pie...the one with the big, floppy Dumbo ears....(he hates that)
It probably isn’t aids. Morelike extreme dimentia. Clinton is the one with advanced aids.
The funny thing about having a mean streak is that you better have a thick skin. This guy doesn’t. So far Williard has ignored the attacks and appeared to take the high ground. But if Obama scores any points with the personal attacks, he will find that Williard (through his surrogates) has one hell of a mean streak.
Agreed. This is going to come out, come out, and come out again and again, and he will have to walk back or be walked back from it. But the awareness of how ridiculous their candidates appear and sound does not seem to be much of a hindrance to Dem stupidity, pandering, and divisiveness. It will continue.
Entertainment and Danger factors are equally as high.
Essentially, we have the SS obama and its crew of sociopathic true believers planed for speed only to hit the humongous iceberg of reality and now its going down.
Next, with ever growing panic and anger, they are likely to take it out on We, the passengers and/or crank the beast up to ramming speed and have another go at that iceberg of reality.
Were it only true, I could not ask for more.
The real meltdown will be when that ego is deprived a second term, God willing. You will see the insanity behind the polish as never before, and the whole facade will crumble down spectacularly as the rats abandon ship, and throw him under the bus.
If it goes as we hope in Nov this will be more than just entertainment. It will be an epic political statement against the left that even Carter was spared.
12-15% of the population concentrated in largely, largely urban areas can only create chaos against those stupid enough to live near them. By and large, violence would be limited. You also know that black-on-white crime will be ignored by the media, and Obama will use it as a reason to declare martial law, perhaps even limited martial law.
But in the end, 15% won’t affect the entirety. Illegals and Latinos could make it worse and more wide-spread, but in my county, they number 1% and 3% respectively. They will get their asses handed to them on a silver platter if they try something. Call it racist, I don’t really care any more.
Ha! Obama forgot Rush’s Rule Number One: Liberals can’t show you who they really are.
Obama is a wimpy homo with an attitude.
Obama wouldn’t know a cow pie from a steak...
“Obama is coming apart”
For sure!
But I hope Romney, and his pacs, are as tough on Obama as they were on the Republicans in the primaries, and don’t use McCain-like tactics.
I grew up in the 50’s. Back then we would have called him a punk. A kid with a big mouth who talks tough because he believes no one can really get next to him, or wouldn’t even dare try.
He’s the type we would play dodge ball with and he would be the ball. Five or six guys form a circle around the punk and he gets shoved from one to the other. No pain involved and no physical damage but the punk learns a big lesson in humility.
The lesson is don’t let your mouth write a check your ass can’t cash. We seldom had to do it more then once to the same guy.
IMO the best way to handle this punk in the WH is to make fun of him. Laughing at a guy with an ego the size of this clown will send him right over the edge.
Nor do I care what anybody wants to call resistance and scorn for evil. It does not matter one whit to me what color or shape it comes in I’m against anyone who is like oblablaloon or anyone fool enough to vote for him at any time.
Would I relish serving them up with their head on a platter. You bet! I’m sick up to my eyeballs with this crap.
My guess is the more Romney sticks strictly to the issues and avoids being drawn in to a street fight the more desperate and frantic will Obama’s attacks become.
If Romney stays on message he probably has a winning strategy.
He’s always had a mean streak. He allowed his team to clear the way while working up through Illinois politics and the senate race, not to mention the guy is a classic case of malignant narcissism.
