Yes, the article indicated that and even had 2 commercials, the newest one poking fun at the gay thing.

Yes, I came across those Pocari Sweat things when I started watching Korean programs on the internet. I had NO IDEA what they are but one of my FB friends told me it was like Pedialyte, and very gross. Suppose to replace the stuff you sweated out.

I'd rather have the Korean version of the MoonPie...

It’s Japanese and it doesn’t taste very good. I much preferred Aquarius, a competitor made by Coca Cola Japan. Pretty much tastes like Fresca.

Maybe its the same genius who thought “US Airlines” would be more successful if they renamed it to “US Airways”

Bimbo Bakeries also bought Mrs Bairds bakery, one of the best tasting regional breads anywhere. So far they havent messed with the formula much. They've seriously messed up the pastries. I'm in the vending biz- before Bimbo took over, we were getting pastries with a 30 day shelf life (we buy them outright- we do not get credit for stales). Now we're lucky if they have two weeks on them. Sometimes they bring us pastry with the same date on it two weeks in a row.
They've also totally screwed the pooch on the fried pies- they used to be made here in Texas- now they are having them made by some outfit in Pennsylvania. Usually I'm all for Pennsylvania Dutch cooking, but these guys have no idea how to make fried pies- especially the lemon ones!

Its been a long while since I tried their pastries, but their bags of little donuts are still addictive. They might be as good as they used to be, but they are still good.
